JJ is the professional with proven track record. He says it was pitching for impacted the results of the past three weekends. He is correct.

It helps, but 2/3 is enough. Getting hot at the right time when combining those team skills is huge.

Who are you to tell any LSU coach they “better “ do anything. I just love people who over value their importance. Jay Jay Johnson doesn’t need advice from a tampon host

I’d also suggest it’s necessary to score more runs than your opponent

This is a good point that is often overlooked. If you score more points 9 out of 10 you will win that game.

I’d like to pose a question. Now I don’t think it was an issue but again I’m just a mere spectator.

This team was comprised of a bunch of guys already at LSU and a bunch of transfers brought over by a new coach. More so than probably any other year by far.

How much do you think that played a factor this year in terms of the team production ( and by production I don’t mean just offense)

Dude, you shouldn't be posting this on the internet. Other people may see this and spread the secret.

If LSU had prime Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, Nolan Ryan, and Greg Maddux on their team this year they would have won a championship.

Don’t forget about Pete Rose and a Roger Clemens

I have done some research and have found that hitting fielding and pitching are important. But not lollygagging may be just as important.

Skip: “You guy, you lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry?”
Larry: “Lollygaggers.”
Skip: “Lollygaggers! What’s our record, Larry?”
Larry: “Eight and 16.”
Skip: “Eight and 16. How’d we ever win eight?”
Larry: “It’s a miracle.”
Skip: “It’s a miracle. This is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball. You got it. Now we have got a 12-day road trip starting tomorrow. Bus leaves six in the morning.”

Man if you could pass that on to Coach JJ it would be greatly appreciative. Groundbreaking!

There are 4 phases I focus on with my youth team.

1. Hitting
2. Pitching
3. Fielding.
4. arse kicking

To win a national championship in football, the team has to be great in all 3
Offense
Defense
Special teams

Insightful, copernicus.

Also gotta score more runs than the other team. Do that and you’re golden.

Maybe to be the #1 seed as Tennessee is but baseball is a crazy sport and teams who struggle in one of those areas sometimes win it all.
