If LSU had prime Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, Nolan Ryan, and Greg Maddux on their team this year they would have won a championship.

alot of people seem to be in disagreement on what was wrong with this team. Its all three that cost us the early exit.

I feel like you need to be above average in all 3 and then be hot at the end. State last year was pretty average in all 3.Lots of things have to go right.

.278 BA (7th SEC)
4.04 ERA (6th SEC)
.973 Fielding % (9th SEC)

I think you need at least one stud friday night guy though.

But they got HOT in the postseason.

That’s as solid analysis on here that I have ever seen. Just outstanding work! Truly!!

Why the fuk did you wait till now to let this be known? Sure could’ve helped if our HC would’ve known about this outstanding knowledge a couple weeks ago!

Excellent post. To drill down even more and really focus on the finer points within the game, I’d also suggest it’s necessary to score more runs than your opponent over the duration of the game.

What about coaching?
What about base running?
What about wearing the right color jersey?
