If there are not major changes with the offense, 5 - 7 is not out of the realm of possibility. I see it more like 6 - 6. But the point is that people who want Les gone are not anti-LSU. They want what is best for the football program.

Just to be clear, You don't think the players have any responsibility to execute?

sure they do, but blaming players while telling others not to shite on players is kinda hypocritical, no?

it was more common yesterday b/c that's the primary defense of miles

harris is the obviously most common figure chosen

Disliking miles IS supporting the team.

our offense is only efficient if we're just mauling people up front

Yeah. I agree with you there. O line is worse than I have ever seen them in recent memory so mauling is out the realm of possibility.

The dropped passes and weak challenges on balls by dupre is infuriating. We should have went to Dural a lot more

Oh I definitely think they have responsibility to execute but when you run the same plays all the time into defenses waiting for you to run those plays and get stopped it isn't because they aren't executing it's because the defense was prepared for that play.

if a team is bad at executing who is ultimately responsible? Better yet how are teams that execute well usually labeled? I will help you out...a well coached team.

When is the last time you heard anyone refer to LSU as a well coached team?

the OL failing does bring up a legitimate worry moving forward b/c if they don't dominate opponents, our offense is nothing. we have no plan B and everything revolves around the OL mauling and letting us run run run

i don't even think we can revamp our passing game with these issues b/c then the middle field pass IS dangerous

Off topic because I see you are from Houston. I'm going to Houston this weekend to see the Cubs play the Astros. Any bars around Minute Maid that are decent?

I agree with your statement about running into 8-9 man fronts over and over. But when the QB can't throw a catchable pass, and it happens over and over, shouldn't that be blamed on the player? Same with a receiver that drops multiple passes. Hell a large portion of the rant grilled Trey Quinn over his dropped passes. What about players missing tackles, who's to blame, coaches or players?

I believe the blame should be shared between the coaches and players. The players for making the mistakes on the field, the coaches for putting them in that position.

They do, but the scheme makes execution impossible

we set our passing game up for failure with the entire structure of our offense

Ditto this sentiment. I have been anti-Miles since 2005 and ALWAYS will be.

Do you not think out of the current "structure" of the offense, if we had better qb play, there would be a lot more success?

I am putting bad qb play on the coaches because it is consistently terrible. Just wondering

I believe that as well, but if the QB can't throw a catchable pass, that's on the player.

And I even mentioned his coaching only. All of the stuff we have heard and seen, from Sid Ortis to Flooding over the summer to Alton Sterling shooting to Hurricane Katrina in 05. Miles the man I can respect, but I can't respect him for taking money from the school when he is not doing as well as he could and then refusing to make a change.
