Cause half the lineup are fast little guys.
The players in today’s starting lineup were:

3b-188 lbs
C-192 lbs
RF-196 lbs
1b-236 lbs
DH-227 lbs
2b-201 lbs
CF- 172 lbs
LF- 193 lbs
SS- 186 lbs

Which “half” do you consider “little guys”?

I will not tolerate being called spineless when I gave blood sweat and tears to defend this country and the freedom of speech

I voiced my opinion, and was called spineless for it! If I was spineless I would not have called that said person out. I am not running

What’s amazing is these same people and posters like them gave the same excuses for Les Miles. They’ve done this for damn near 5 years despite watching what new blood and smart hires have produced in the other 2 sports. Football just had the greatest season in LSU history and one of if not the best in NCAA history. Basketball is about to cap its best back to back seasons in 30+ years. What’s more insane is that LSU Baseball didn’t have anywhere near the ground to makeup the way the other two have, CPM inherited by far the top program in the sport and it’s the only one going backwards. Yet somehow he’s the sacred cow around here to these people and is larger than LSU itself to them. It’s bizarre the way these people think.

I am beginning to think these people just get on here to defend any negativity about anything like it’s a debate when you can’t debate an opinion only facts

Some do and that’s fine but like you said it’s a discussion board so I don’t know why they’d do that. Others have never seen anyone besides CPM coach baseball and their entire inventory of baseball knowledge comes from CPM. They have no one to compare him to so they don’t know what good baseball is. Watching 30 for 30 and a couple home run clips doesn’t do Skips tenure justice and I’ve seen some of these fans say that what CPM has done here is more impressive than what Skip did lol.

I don’t consider a top program to be one that went 13-17 in the SEC and didn’t even get invited to play in the NCAA post season the season before Mainieri was hired.

Certainly not “by far the top program in the sport.”

These dumbasses on the board who defend Mainieri are possibly the posse of the Coaches Committee who feel special when Mainieri pulls his dick out.

Even The best programs have down years! It is unavoidable. We were on a slide before Maineri he just hasn’t pushed us out of it either. We always are the bridesmaid never the bride with Maineri

They were literally in the World Series two years before he took over lol. Funny you love to talk about 2017 but the program has a 2 year shelf life when you need to prop CPM up. Oh and BTW Smoke went to Omaha more frequently than CPM since you wanted to open that door.

You realize smoke wasnt fired because he didnt get to omaha right? The program literallydeclined every year from 2004-2006...and in a time where lsu actually did have advantages over other teams and other teams didnt care as much to invest in the sport.
