I see a lot of bitching and complaining about this season. A season where we likely finish 10-3. Complaining about our strength of wins and our Loss to Troy.

First of all we are the ONLY team in the FBS besides Oklahoma that have won at least 8 games a year dating back to 2000. Our winning percentage in that time is like .780 which ranks 4th in the nation amongst FBS schools.

Now lets take a look at the ENTIRE SEC in the SABAN ERA. Let's see how many losing seasons these teams have had.

ALABAMA - (Obviously - ZERO)
VANDY - 8 losing seasons
KTUCKY - 6 losing seasons
TENNESSEE - 6 losing seasons
OLE PISS - 4 losing seasons
ARKY - 4 losing seasons
MOO ST - 3 losing seasons
SCU - 2 losing seasons
AUBURN - 2 losing seasons
FLORIDA - 2 losing seasons
MIZZOU since joining SEC - 3 losing seasons
A&M since Joining No losing seasons but 0-5 vs LSU

Bottom Line...besides ALABAMA we are the MOST consistent winning TEAM in the SEC. And arguably the MOST consistent Winning Program in the NATION. Think about it, Things could be a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT WORSE! Would you rather be like TENNESSEE for instance? No SEC wins....STOP with your complaining!

1.) 4 of those teams won their division since LSU last won the division.

2.) The landscape of the league is already changing as we speak. It is always possible to slip further if results on the field don't improve.

So why did we fire Miles?

This will turn out to be O’s best season at LSU.

Coach O beat a bunch of teams with losing records, including several that canned or are going to can their coaches. Weakest schedule LSU has had in years.

He's a zero.

The OP makes an excellent argument for why we should have never fired Les Miles.
And even a better argument for why we should not have taken such a big risk in giving the keys to an unqualified position coach.
BTW. just b/c one disagrees with you regarding the direction of the program doesn't mean they "hate" the program or the coach. This concept seems to be beyond the reach of many here...

It's a fair point. Saban has also killed the SEC if you want to get down to brass tax. If you don't believe see the records from the OP. LSU is the only team outside of Auburn that has weathered the raft of the midget..

Yayyy 9-3!!!! Weren’t we complaining about 9-3 for the last 6 years? Now we’re suppose to accept it because “it could of been worse”?

Is this what we have resorted to? Not being able to be critical of a 9-3 season that includes a loss to Troy and a beat down by State and losing to Bama again?
What did we accomplish that should be glorified?

We have nice seasons but we’re not winning the west and we’ve not gone to an secccg in 5 years. The natives are restless and O will have to produce next year, either beat Bama or win the west, or both.

Beat Bama and SECCG or it’s a lost cause.

What else are you playing for if you aren’t competing for the West?

This thread is ridiculous and anyone pumping sunshine because we are 9-3 is a lost cause.

So he bumbled into one decent victory, lost to Troy, and then beat a bunch of teams that were on life support.

so in other words we are Bama's bitch boy. Didn't mean to sound harsh but it is what it is. We always fall short against Bama when Auburn pulls it out of their asses against them. But we also have Auburn's number. The natives are restless.. I am one of them. The Canada flirting with offers brings me back to why I didn't want O. Take nothing away from Coach O has done this year, it was a remarkable turnaround. But Constantly hitting the reset button either offensively or defensively causes continuity issues. We are just starting to turn the corner offensively. If we have to hit the reset button again offensively, next year screams another 9-3 instead imo a potential of going 11-1.

We aren't going 11-1, reset or not. We'll be lucky to go 7-5. We won't have the weak schedule we had this year.

We have a ton coming back and the hard games are at home with an opener in Dallas which will be a glorified home game. I kinda disagree with you.

Then this same idiot will post we should be happy we’re 7-5 because “it could of been worse”
