I never denied my B.A. from LSU nor the fact I attended EVERY home game during the Hallman regime.

I was at the practice field when Archer found out from the TV reporters that Joe Dean had hired a search firm to find a new coach. I attended the press conference when Dean introduced Bear -- er, Hallman. I watched Hallman's recruiting turn into black hole of character issues. I was in the south endzone when DiNardo pissed away the UF win by losing to Ole Miss at home.

You generalize too much, you give to much credence to anonymous posts on a message board, and you generally suck.

So .

You say this as if ULL is just a team that is on the down swing rather than one whose series point margin against LSU is about 1000 to 20.

won more bowl games than your boys did. Hell, the bowl game you went to was a BS bowl anyways.

The highlight of your program was beating A&M ONCE. That's it......that's sad.

I remember when I was recruited and how angry the USL coaches (Beach & Stokely) got when I didn't give them an official visit.....hell, never even gave them an unofficial visit. Was cute. I guess they fancied themselves relevant. They weren't and still aren't.

BTW, do these asshats realize LSU was also VERY successful in the 80's? And, we had what would be dream seasons for ULL in 1995, 1996, 1997.

I would normally pull for UL Lafayette as I do UL Monroe (except for when either play LSU) or any other instate school. Then, I lived in Lafayette. The following list of things I heard constantly myself and from others is why I hope LSU beats the living frick out of the Cajuns this weekend:

1. No matter how it's explained, the Cajun fans/alumni have it set in their thick ignorant bucket head that LSU steals from the other state schools. You can explain that the number of students enrolled is what determines who gets how much, but they refuse to listen and don't care. They have it set in their mind that LSU is the bad guy stealing from them.
2. Along the same lines, they refuse to believe that LSU's athletic program is self sufficient through profits gained from football and TAF. They have this preconceived notion that LSU athletics are funded from the state and that LSU is the "good kid" that gets spoiled while all the other schools get the scraps. Again, no matter how it's explained, they refuse to listen and go with their fantasy that LSU is once again, the bad guy.

3. I have never heard such ugly things coming from the mouth of people in regards to Baton Rouge and the people from Baton Rouge. Just as you don't understand how LSU students consider LSU an Ivy League school, I don't understand how people from Lafayette consider that little small party coonass city as some cultural mecca/paradise. It gets old after living there a year. Neither is Baton Rouge, but come on...

4. Students that attend UL Lafayette and wear LSU clothing to class are called out by professors. How unprofessional.

LSU football was down in the 90's,but every school has a down period sometime. Actually, LSU and USC had virtually the same won/loss percentage in the 90's.

As long as LSU can claim Louisiana High School Football as its private feeder program, the Tigers will be an elite team and a perennial SEC.
power.

And you are correct that Saban is directly if not solely responsible for the present state of LSU football. I would say Skip Bertman did a lot of the heavy lifting to get much of the new football inferstructure accomplished, and Saban turned Louisiana High School in to LSU's private talent cupboard--thank you Nick!

I do remember those dys as I lived through them. You on the other hand don't have to remember when you were a piece of shite team because you still are and always will be.

Being from Louisiana , totally disgusted with the hate betwween all Louisiana schools. Graduated from NSU , but always an LSU fan. Living up here in the frigid North, hate their arrogance and I'd be damned that we are exhibiting the same big headedness. Loved the role of the underdog; at least at that time we didn't have our heads up our arse.

No matter how shitty we have ever been we could always count of an easy rent a win from the completely hapless ULL. You guys should have stayed IAA, where you sucked a little less.

Listen here junior. You can be as proud as you want about your team beating Kansas St. but to try to come on here and talk shite to the LSU fanbase as a whole is making you look like the idiot that you probably are.

LSU and USL/ULL are not close to being on the same "playing field". I know you wish your football team, school, degree was as good or as respected as LSU's but it just isn't. The sooner you accept that fact, the sooner you can move on in life from your current state of penis envy.

It is attitudes like yours that make it difficult for LSU fans to pull for and respect your program (maybe even put a few LSU buts in your seats so that your stadium looks like it is well attended).

Have a great day.

You guys are awesome...

It's clear that you would rather me all suck you off and things.

And who was I to believe that we would actually get someone who would admit that they jumped on the bandwagon after 2003?

I get that every school has bandwagon fans. We're not that dumb..seriously. But, all this thread has done is prove my point about how pompous LSU fan has become.

"We're gonna kick the shite out of you", "keep dreaming", etc., etc. I get it, you're a NATIONAL power. You win national championships. We'll never get to your level because we don't have your resources. But why can't we just revel in a good start and the opportunity we have to do good things this year and have the chance of changing the perception of our program? Because we aren't in the Top 10? Just understand that these 2 programs will always have different definitions of success...

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but, you say it as if our program began in the 90s. I think any fan would acknowledge LSU had a bad program at different points in time throughout history. But we've also had a great program sometimes. What about before the 90s? The 70s were pretty good, as were the early 60s and late 50s.
