I seem to remember a 48-3 arse whipping that Troy dealt you guys. But at least LSU got a "W"!! No matter how ugly of a game we played in the first 2 1/2 quarters.

Yeah, we did. By the way, which USL/ULL football coach ever went on to prominent success at a major Div 1 program??? I guess we don't have the market cornered on bad hires, then.

Then a good percentage of you came on. The bandwagoners.

That's right. However, I grew up in Lafayette, and never have I seen fair weather fans like the USL/ULL people. I think most high schools in the area had better fan bases. Kind of hypocritical of you to admonish anyone for being bandwagon riders.

But, all this thread has done is prove my point about how pompous LSU fan has become.

Pompous? Maybe rabid. But a stretch on the pompous.

Like I said in another thread, you come on an LSU board talking smack and you are taken aback by the smack you get back?

Guess the verdict is in. You're not the hat-on-Miles-head. You're really the-mosquito-on-Miles-arse.

Once you learn how to spell kaka as in poop that you do every day then maybe you will earn some respect;

Lafayette's Kaka in Training!
1. first walk into the bathroom.
2. pull pants down.
3. crunt and see what happens
4. smell what you done
5. you have kaka.

That's easier than basket weaving that yall also have as a subject for your football players to pass in order to be able to play against LSU Sat. night.

You should. If ULL did this, then when they came to LSU they would get more respect.
Win the Sunbelt, go to a bowl, repeat, repeat, repeat, move up to CUSA. That's the way to gain credibility and respect. Not by wearing penis envy shirts and talkin shite.

False Bravado mixed in with a semi-coherent, hateful rant.

Different year.
Same USL.

SO much penis envy.

When did all this hate start between our schools in la. I grew up in n. la. and everyone was for LSU and then the rest. Nobody hated. Very sad.

You do realize LSU's attendance figures for each year of that short, yet awful, era were at least 4 times what USL has ever drawn for a year of football?

Exactly how is LSU stopping ULL fans from doing that? I guess the same way LSU intentionally keeps ULL's programs down.

You should definitely enjoy the success your program has, but understand LSU's success and ULL's success are measured by two different measuring sticks.

I don't mind ULL; I mind the fans that are just inherently seething towards LSU. I should know, a good portion of my family resides in the Lafayette area, and to hear them talk about LSU, you'd swear as a fanbase we rape women and kill children.

I get that every school has bandwagon fans. We're not that dumb..seriously. But, all this thread has done is prove my point about how pompous LSU fan has become.

Dude, what do you expect when you roll up in here talking shite about a football program and it's fans? Especially when the program you're supporting in the thread is obveously not on the same playing field. Did you really think people would meet your criticism with respect? Seriously?

The only time these arguments come up are when ULL fans find some deep seeded need to whine about LSU. I love Lafayette and root for the Cajuns everytime they play, as do most of my friends. If people wear ULL clothes around here no one cares. But God forbid you walk around ULL's campus in a LSU t-shirt. You get death stares.

I just don't get it. ULL people roll into here with no slight coming from us and start talking about how we're all assholes and douches. We may have alot of those, but when you take that action you make yourself look nothing but jealous. If you want to whine about bandwagoners do it. But don't follow it up with all these props about ULL and it's program. Its silly.

No, he left for the NFL...which is a lifelong dream. Don't blame him. Whenever the NFL didn't work he came back to college and Bama was his best offer.

I completely agree with this...which is why I don't get the rash hatred for Saban from Tiger fan.

The hate stems more from the fact that the majority of LSU fans think LSU is the summit of football, and there is no better job. And of course it burns them all up that Saban turned right around and took the job at Bama.

What does Saban have to do with anything in this thread? He didn't leave us for Bama.

For 11 years out of the 115 years of LSU football, from 1989 through 1999, we struggled, posting only three winning seasons. Still, even in that down time, we posted a win over a #1 ranked opponent, won three bowl games, had a 10-win season and never finished lower than #26 nationally in home attendance.

If your post is some lame attempt to compare the worst period of LSU football with ULL's typical status, then it is indeed just that...a lame attempt. Currently, if ULL could claim a performance equal to LSU's during our 11-year nightmare, it would be a significant improvement for you.

LSU didn't completely make Saban who he is now. They didn't teach him how to coach and recruit. Otherwise, Curley and DiNardo would've had success as well...

DiNardo did. He posted a winning career record at LSU, won three bowl games, had a 10-win season and three top-25 finishes in just five years coaching here. Any coach who did that in 20 years at ULL would be considered a legend there.

1 Not sure why anyone even bothers to acknowledge these type of comments. Name a school that doesn't have fair weather fans. Ours may unfortunately be more vocal than most....

2 USL, ULL, or whatever they will call themselves in the next decade to be relevant. Does it really matter what they believe about LSU's lack of quality fans are. Most of them are LSU fans as well, closet or otherwise, and probably the same percentage of them are fair weather as well.
