I hope Memphis wins this week just so Cincinnati can end up unranked after.

To an impartial committee of voters, the conversation about LSU or Ohio State being ranked #1 would end there.

so an impartial committee would look at only one game each?

or would they say in two games vs (current) top 12 they won by 31 and 11. Never trailed and was never tied other than 0-0.

LSU vs two (current) top 12 won by 14 and 5.
and LSU/Florida was tied at 7 , 14 , 21 , 28 and we were down half way through 3rd qtr.

Agree with what was just said on ESPN. Committee is setting it up for round one not to be an LSU/Alabama rematch.

People that say this dont have an understanding of the numbers and metrics the committee uses.

No they won't.

If that's the case then LSU will have 5 top 5 wins, only 2 of them being at home.

Is giving up 21 to this Rutgers team a "complete" win?

Yeah, they're definitely worthy of a #12 ranking

I would like whatever hallucinogen people are taking that makes them think OSU would beat Florida, Auburn, and Alabama. They'd be lucky to be 1-3. Don't @ me with Penn State. Their QB is awful; he cost them the game at Minnesota, and when they replaced him at OSU, they actually started scoring.

The only bigger dumpster fire of a conference is the ACC.

Good thing LSU has an opportunity for a win against Georgia.

Wins over Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Alabama trumps anything OSU can out in paper

Memphis is favored by 11 so that shows Cincy in nowhere near top 25 caliber. However, the committee will probably keep them at 25 with a loss so that they can continue to justify Ohio st as #1

I hope Bama gets in and eliminates OSU while we spank Clemson.

All-SEC rematch for the title.

Please, I'm begging ya'll to step back and look at teams objectively.

The media keeps propping up Penn State and Michigan to make Ohio State look better.

FL, Auburn, Bama all would wipe the floor with Penn State or Michigan

Such a suckeye thing to say.

It's easy to look like a "complete team" when your schedule is garbage- refer to original post.

The committee has proven to be incompetent.

you brought it up.
said noway they could beat Auburn. and Penn State doesn't count because their QB sucks.

well, Penn State is ranked higher, has fewer losses, and their QB is better than Nix.

if you don't want that comparison brought up, then don't bring those two specific teams like you did.
