It's not like they were going to break Ohio state anyway! They were not suited to compete as LSU would be. Their personnel doesn't match up with what Urban does. Ours would have defensively. Only trouble we would have had would have been passing. Not because AJ sucks he's actuall pretty decent just only makes 2 progressions on his reads. But that's because they (wr) cannot get separation fast enough. Dural & TE smith can diarse sometimes, dupre, quinn and whomever can't consistently! That's your qb problem!

Every starter on bamas team was part of a #1 recruiting class and they've crapped out 2 seasons in a row. That is the definition of wasting talent.

And LSU finished unranked with top 5 talent?

The point is if that talent had stayed to play for LSU we'd be winning more and hopefully in the playoffs.

How this simple concept escapes so many in this thread flabbergasts me.

Say what you want, but until LSU get's its act together, it's comforting to know that ALABAMA just lost the Sugar bowl again and they truly suck in the big game.

The larger (and conveniently overlooked) point is that if we had a head coach that knew his butt from a hole in the ground, this thread wouldn't exist in the first place. Projecting blame onto aspiring teenagers who don't want to be part of a cluster frick in BR is pretty weak.

How do you know that?

Do you think CR and LC playing for LSU this year would have made our QB better?

Sad.

This isn't hard--

A better D for us and a worse D for Bama puts us in the SEC Championship?

Wrong! Our players have talent and skill! I put this on the coaches. Its their job to find players to match the plans they have or find players strong points and make plays for them. Everyone has their opinion but I believe some of these players would have totally different results playing elsewhere. Instead of downing our players blame the coaches. Maybe with so many new players maybe the coaches couldn't put the right blend together this year idk but for fans to simply trash players that have proven skills how about make the coaches get it together. I've seen less talent with less skill have better results under the right leadership. Either way I hope someone steps up and turns this team around for everyone.

You're right, this isn't hard. We lost 5 games by a shite ton of points. A better D for us and worse for Bama puts us at 4 losses and in the weed eater bowl.

You're irrelevant when you give up and that's when you become a sad sack of shite. I believe in never giving up, persistence will get you into the big picture every time. I also understand state pride and don't like it when our best decide to go play for our most capable rival. It makes me happy when they fail and that shouldn't be hard to comprehend.

Just calm down. They are teenagers -- young adolescents.

Act like a grown man instead of one of their peer group members, sir.

Every non-Louisiana Tiger should go back to their own state.... That is basically what this thread is about

If you had the choice of playing for Less or Nick who would you choose? Ask Dupre how he feels after the bowl game where he was barely used if at all. Les can't do anything with the talent he has been fortunate enough to get over the years.

This

The word "irrelevant" used to be correctly used derisively by LSU fans about Ole Miss and Moo State.

In 2013 they were way more relevant than LSU.
