re: Why does LSU have its DH

[Why does LSU have its DH batting 9th?]

After intense study and precise calculations a accumulative concurrence by authorized personal made the assignment and is proprietary information.
[The Jordan twins were HS teammates with ULL player Fontenot.]

Also, ULL pitcher Gunner Leger and where National Champions their senior year.

The size deference isn't enough when your so predictable! LSU style offense might as well tell the defense what the plays are but we don't have to because everyone has seen it. It is simply out dated and ineffective!

Les Miles Play Book

Les Miles offensive style and playbook has nothing to do with talent. AGainst teams we can muscle around it may work. However it's boring and out dated. What Les Miles left for LSU does not work against teams that match up with physical talent. It's not that we dont have a talented players or that Bama has a better players. Bama would have lost if we had any other playbook than what Miles left us with. When an offense is as boring as ours even Bama would lose if they ran the same offense. It wears our players down keeping defense on the field to much because it's so out dated. It's not designed to score enough points to separate from teams we should or in a hurry when needed. It's simply painful and boring to watch. Mostly it's unjust for the talented players LSU has!

He is legit! Kennon Fontenot is his name. He broke some records himself. He was a gamer but baseball is his preference. He plays for ULL. He didn't have the height so most didn't consider him at the next level. I say with his ability to scramble and his arm strength along with some other key abilities someone should have convinced him to play.
(it's been said by other coaches)
Show me coaches saying this.
Show me where others get more separation than Quinn. I've watched every game. I've seen nothing from any reciever and nothing from Quinn that support your claims. The only thing I do see is regardless who is open our qb has determined who he is throwing the ball to before the ball is even snapped!
Are you one of the coaches? Just because our qb can't pass the ball consistently or read more than one target shouldn't reflect as a recievers fault. Quinn has been open often but seldom thrown to. You include running backs with recievers but regardless he should have been thrown to more. We have several good players but unlike the running back position we should target more than 1 receiver.
How? What evidence has prove he has struggled? I don't see where he has struggled but I have seen numerous struggles by others!
What makes you think 6 or 7 other players deserve touches over Quinn? I don't understand why you say they deserve it! Why doesn't Quinn deserve more touches?

Why would you make such a random comment? That doesn't even make sense!
You right about one thing we shouldn't hate on any of the players! However I totally understand what people are trying to say! We have some of the best athletes! The issues we have can be corrected. We can't be so predictable with play calling or formations. Passing is more than throwing the ball. If the defense can read the quarterback or play so easily then he has the advantage. Players will never build the nessasary skills without enough reps and trusting each other to be in the right spots. One of the best plays over the middle last year with a wide open receiver was because of the misdirection made by the qb. It isn't that hard to correct some of these issues unless we are to stubborn and determined to think we can just muscle everyone around.
Sounds like your butt hurts! What happen did Trey Quinn beat your son in a track meet or you? Deal with it tuff guy or girl haha

First of all Quinn CAN play any wr position. To help make since of why he isn't targeted has nothing to do with his abilities. Because of our style "run" offense the deep ball is utilized more often. Also it's very obvious the short pass takes more touch and timing. This takes time to develop between players. So for now I believe the deep ball is utilized mostly and the taller receivers benefit from this. I don't think it has anything to do with who is more or less skilled. Fans will make their on assumptions but only time will tell the real truth. I believe stats are sometimes just eye candy for the simple minded. However, stats don't show everything. If someone is good enough in time they will shine. LSU will continue winning and improving. Our recruiting is top ranked for a reason. We are loaded and as long as our players all stay focused they will achieve their goals. Fans can only speculate but most have NO clue!

Who knows maybe you are right about him being only 4th or 5th best on this team. However why is it so hard to understand the attention this kid has on him? He earned it and people like myself who watched the kid play and expect to see him have more opportunities!
Instead the 2 drops last year is all some care to speak about while others have had many more drops. To say he isn't as good as another is not what some have noticed. Frankly the only thing that is obvious is we don't throw him the ball! Many people have seen this kid do incredible things on the field and believe in his abilities! For those who never had the opportunity to witness his career but only last years Alabama game I respect your opinion. However, for those who know more about what this kid can do then understand that regardless what others may think or say we will always look forward to watching him play. I hope he continues to play for LSU but regardless I will be a fan as long as he plays football. I have watched many great players through the years but until the next great one he stands the best I've personally watched play in High School!
There was many players and coaches that directly led to us losing that game! Why the spotlight and punishment for only Quinn? People like you make it obvious you are targeting one player! There was more than one person on the team that contributed to our defeat! Even if you wish to put it all on Quinn, I believe he has handled it well and paid for it more than enough and more than any others have! It's not Justifiable! If anyone thinks it is justifiable then it needs to be equal for everyone!

The real question isn't why are people obsessed with Quinn it's more like why does some have to constantly put him down and bring up the race card!
Obviously he did something that made many fans appreciate and notice him. Maybe the same reason every college in the country offered him a scholarship! Remember he started as a true freshman and still continues to see substantial playing time! That doesn't happen for a player who isn't that good! Also being the fact he's white obviously has brought attention since most skilled players at his position are black! So this goes to show even the Quinn sore asses he is defying the odds! Last year Quinn had 2 drops that this year Dural and Dupre both have made but yet excuses made for them. Yea his where in a close game against Alabama his freshman year and no they where not as blatantly dropped as others have made this year. However he has been crusified by those who where probably waiting for the opportunity! Why?
Facts prove he is fast and can catch! 2 drops in one game and being white doesn't change those facts!
Chark and Quinn both had great summers. Both combined have less drops than each of our starters. Starters sat out 1 play of 1 game as punishment for drops yet still have issues. Chark and Quinn could make plays if they had the same call. Both players have to be more hungry than anyone else yet they never get the opportunity. How will this effect future recruits? This has been a issue with Miles at other positions also through the years. I can recall at quarterback a similar choice by Miles that cost us the game to many who watched!
