In case you haven't noticed, there are significant differences between college student athletes and professional athletes. Boo the pros all the hell you want; leave the kids alone. It's real easy, if you don't like their performance, don't go to their GAMES.

I'm pretty diasppointed in him though. You'd think he would be a little more passive with the ball in his hands.

what i think was even worse was when Jordan Jefferson came in, the backup QB, the student section cheered louder than we did for our own starting QB? but it wasnt the fact that the student section thinks JJ deserves the starting job, its that the majority of the students dont think JLee deserves it. That was a slap in the face to JLee and that's just uncalled for.

I was at the game last night. I am a fan through and through. People are irritated how many pick 6's is he going to throw. I think he may be trying to go for a record. Yes, I know he's young but how many games does he have to start before people quit using that as an excuse.
I really don't think people were booing at him they were booing because they were waiting to see jefferson play. That's what we heard that jefferson would play this game. What a perfect opportunity for him to get into a game and get some much needed practice because you know he is young also. People got very excited when Jefferson was on the sidelines warming up then all the sudden there goes Lee into the game. So, I really think it wasn't meant to be at Lee it was the decision to not play jefferson at that time.
Just my 2 cents....take it for what it's worth.

I dont care whether people boo one way or another, just pointing out how assinine some of the comments on here are.

I disagree with you. it's that the student section was told JJ would get playing time and after JLee's lousy performance they wanted to see him have that shot.

Remember, fan is short for fanatic...and fanatics need something outside of themselves to make them feel like their life has value...mature LSU supporters know that "the process" requires time and experience to produce a consistent and efective QB...and two more are coming on board next year to ad to the competition...good luck to them all...

I watched on TV and I thought it was horrible. I think they were booing the fact that Jefferson didnt get in the game at the point but either way it was a shame.

Booing someone who is accepting pay to play (or coach) is a little different than booing a college kid. Yeah, he is on scholarship, but he (or she-gotta watch Title VI) is going to school, and not doing it for pay.
I love LSU fans-when Randall was playing they wanted Russell, when Russell was playing they wanted Flynn, when Flynn was playing they wanted RP, when Hatch started they wanted Lee, now they want Jefferson. At least there is some consistency there....
