If you think LSU's play-calling under Ensminger is anywhere near as good as Clemson's offensive play calling, then I don't know what to tell you.
Also, Lawrence might be the #1 pick in the draft and he has the ACC's all-time leading TD scorer and back-to-back conference Player of the Year behind him in Etienne . Nice comparison. Our running game sucks this year. I never said true freshman can't have success. I'm just saying he is a true freshman and this is what happens with the vast majority of true freshman who play.

You just listed a bunch of reasons why a coach shouldn’t embarrass his freshman QB when he’s A) not good to begin with and B) put in a bad position and then inevitably fails.

Edit: I highly doubt Ed got on him for simply throwing a pic. We should all know it had more to do with that. GUYS... we are playing Bama next week. Lets let them hear it now. It doesnt get easier and is generally better for the young guys who want to becomes a tough leader of a top offense.

If it mattered that much, maybe get in his face in the 1st quarter? Halftime? WTF is screaming at him at the end of the 3rd quarter accomplishing?
His coaches benched him in the 1st half, then put him back in, but never made any adjustments to protect him. Most mindfricked freshmen will try to force a play at that point.

I like him, still think he can be a star. But, if his coaches don’t coach him (which is what O was doing) he will not learn. He absolutely needed to be screamed at. Hopefully he learned from this crap game and he can move on knowing a little bit more.

Coaches dont just willy nilly yell at their freshmen QB’s for making mistakes on bad throws. He was yelled at for something different, but since we dont know what it was, why would you make the comment you made? Just doesnt make sense.
