Absolutely not! We know where this bullshite is coming from and who is Finnegan I guess wait. There is only one logical explanation why this is going down the way it is, it is because of football and it’s involvement in the scandal at the hospital. Well one step better protect their best coach on campus, and that is Will Wade. He can’t go down because of the bullshite that the football program committed long before any of this bullshite came out on him allegedly arranging a pay for play crap. Mind you NOTHING has been proven by no one. Follow the fricking money people!

There still is. Some braindead can't keep up with the WW drama and basketball team at the same time, much less spring football. The other million or so people don't have that problem.

The hire of O basically killed any energy. Ticket sales down, energy down, visibility down.

Speaking of braindead - check this out:

"Attendance at Tiger Stadium for 2018 wasn’t an all-time high — 2015 holds that record with an average attendance of 102,004 — but it was a vast improvement from 2017.

An average of 100,819 people paid to take in games at Tiger Stadium this season, and only one game had an announced attendance of less than 100,000 people — the season opener against Southeastern.

But the catalyst on top of having marquee opponents was how LSU sported a vastly improved product on the field. LSU eclipsed the 10-win mark for the first time since 2013 and was ranked in the top-15 for much of the year."

How's that saying go? Oh yeah, - it's better to remain silent and thought to be an idiot, then to type and remove all doubt". You need to quit typing when you don't know shite.

better on-field product helps spur increase in LSU football attendance

Oops.

Tomorrow's propaganda posted in today's progaganada thread.

Oops.

Still waiting on you to discuss special teams. I'm sure that would be rich. Without other people's links.

What a shame that LSU football used to promote itself, now it needs a full time PR man to keep it on the first page

This is so much bullshite. What a total crybaby.

Yeah that ridiculous. The hype around spring football is down because we have a Sweet 16 basketball team to talk about and a huge controversy around said basketball teams coach.

That's fine. I understand that there's plenty to talk about but if you aren't interested don't open the thread. There are possibly people that still want to discuss it. The stupid propaganda shite needs to go away. It's absolutely retarded.

Yeah, even I am still pretty amped about spring.

Honestly I feel Like we’re getting less news out of this camp. Probably because all our heat writers are busy.

LSU had No. 1 Alabama at home in 2018, as well as an uncommon home contest against No. 2 Georgia. The Tigers hadn’t hosted the Bulldogs since 2008.

“Any time you can have a big opponent, a rare opponent, like Georgia, that’s going to be a huge boost for attendance,” LSU senior associate athletic director Robert Munson said.

Looks like UGA and Bama had more to do with it than anything else. Just quoting the article you linked. It is like you don't even read past the headlines.

I read the article and know what it says.

Just like I know what you said:
"Ticket sales down"

Ticket sales are not down. You were wrong. Quit trying to be like Dick Vitale a-hole. That shite doesn't work. You're like "I wasn't wrong. Ticket sales were up, but it was for a different reason than what I said they were down for". What a clown !!!

You are wrong and were proven wrong (in this case way beyond a reasonable doubt), it's best to admit it and move along or just move along if you are a chickenshit. But trying to change the focus off of what you said won't work.

Heck I want spring football news. Like ya said don’t want to talk about it don’t. I know it’s mostly just attacking a certain poster, like a damn thread is disrespectful to basketball, get real.
Back to post..... I do hope the young kicker coming in can be as good or close to last year. I’m pretty sure I read he is pretty damn good. The punt return game can really or hopefully get better. Not to knock on Giles but he for some reason looked a step slow all year, did he have some injury? I saw a little film on him and he looked faster to me before transfer to LSU.

Hopefully you are wrong. As I mentioned above, the LSU spring game is April 6th. The NCAA basketball championship game is April 8th.

Yes. I should've been a little more detailed. That's my bad. My point was we had a while to catch up on spring before fall ball starts.

I was just poking fun.

Of course I'm keeping up. As I'm sure we all are. But make no mistake, I'm paying particularly close attention to basketball and watching every day for news on Wade (good news)

For 100 years, LSU football has been bigger than LSU basketball. We're excited about LSU basketball this spring, and rightfully so. They're making a run.

But football drives the train. Always has and always will. Even Kentucky needs football to be good to drive the profit margin.

Basketball at LSU simply needs to keep its head above water, which makes this year even more exciting. It's fun and exciting, but it's one year. Drop off next year and it's behind gymnastics.

Cade York is going to be just fine next year. He won’t be Tracy but nobody is. He will shank a couple kicks as you’d expect a nervous freshman to do but overall this kid has a huge leg and is also accurate. FG kicker is not a problem for the next 4 years.

I just don't understand why it isnt okay to make a football thread and talk about that topic. If you don't want to then talk about the basketball topics on other threads. There's plenty of room for both. I mean we arent hijacking the baseball threads

Thats good. That’s what we pay like 8 million dollars a year for.

Hey here’s the plan- don’t over think it and put Derek Stingley back a returner. Can someone pay me 80k to be an analyst? I just solved their special teams dilemma.

The only important thing in spring is injuries and staying healthy. The rest is just propaganda about how great they look.
