Jesus I can’t watch mid week games with this team anymore. Highly disappointing season to date and it’s also getting long it the tooth.

No, this team isn't talented enough and doesn't have the grit or team buy in that it should. It's like they let the preseason ranking get to their head. If I was on the opposing team there isn't one person on offense or defense that would intimidate me. Usually LSU has a few if these types of players but not this year. Hitting numbers may be okay but when in scoring position or when it matters they fold like a cheap chair.
Of course they will make post season but I doubt they get far. They just do not have the it factor that we have been accustomed to and this was supposed to be one of CPM's best squad. I'm over it.
I'm sick of the excuses made by people, we should not be losing consistently to inferior teams. I don't have the answer and it seems CPM doesn't have the answers either.

Not talented enough? We were damn near a unanimous preseason #1 by the major polls. We had our best hitters return and supposedly some of the best pitching top to bottom in the country.
We were picked to lose less games in the entire year then we already have and we are halfway through the SEC.
Injuries or not it’s a shite job thus far. CPM wants to talk about how we are a game out of first in the West but we are also a bad weekend away from being second to last in the West.

Outside of Watson, Cabrera, and Smith, there's not a soul on this team that could start on a usual LSU team over the past 25 years. We aren't that good.

It ALL depends on us getting Reid, Watson, Hess, and Hill/Marceaux back. Get those guys back in good health and we can win any series going forward.
We are 9-6 in the SEC now. Let's play as well as we can injured though we are, and maybe we'll get 2/3 this weekend.

We had an excellent basketball season and the football season is going to be great. I Gymnastics and Softball seem to be great too. So Baseball can take a rest this year!!!
