Time for our defense and Coach Aranda to feel disrespected?

All the talking heads on TV talk about is how Brent Venables is going to scheme for the LSU offense. The way our defense has been playing the last 3 games, seems like no one is giving them the respect they deserve b/c all the hype is around our offense. Hardly anyone mentioning how Coach Aranda and the LSU defense are going to prep for and stop the Clemson offense.

Talking heads need to create content, create a narrative, take a side, build the hype, get eye balls on the tube, get their clicks and likes.

Don't waste too much of your precious hours/days while on this earth to listen to what they have to say. Go for a walk, bite an apple.

Probably because LSU offense is the juggernaut everyone is focusing on. Clemson's offense, not so much.

This constant praising of Venables is pissing me off also. The talking heads are convinced that Venables will turn Burrow into a bumbling high school QB. F them and I guarantee that Burrow and Aranda have noticed. I hope we hang 50 on em!!

I'm over the talk, the commentators, the predictions, conjecture, speculation, and pontification. I'm just done with it! Nobody knows what's going to happen until the game is played!

Was Venables a DC before Clemson? How’d he do?

Well, shame on them. Really. Because we know Clemson is going to have to do things differently on D because of us.

The question is will we have to drastically change our D scheme to tailor to their O?

Is this a case of going against a really good QB who (as of last week) can run, an excellent RB, and 2-3 really good WRs with height? If so... it's like going against the Gumps again or UF with a stud QB.

That's a recipe for a battle, but not having to revamp our scheme to match their O.

And is playing your D scheme like you've played often all year and advantage over someone who's had to make wholesale adjustments? Yes, it is.

So the good story might be how Venables will have to adjust to us, but the REAL story will be how we didn't have to.

2016: gave up 45 to Bama, 2nd highest points total for Bama that year
2017: gave up 31 to Bama

2018 was an anomaly based on the d line studs he had.

We gonna be all right.

Think Aranda's reputation is out there for all to see. Not everyone views this guy with rose colored glasses!!

The 4 years prior to this year Clemson has given up 45,31,24 and 16 points to Alabama.

We are 2-2.

Ten more days!

This ain't Alabama or any team you've ever witnessed! If they show up and play their game, Clemson will be just another skin on the wall to decorate LSU's historic season!

It is what it is or rather it is what it will be!
