Yeah he picked a bad time to start bitchn about money. That portal class this year is horrible, some of the people that gave a little $$ are going to need some assurance that CJJ can turn this mess around. IMHO I believe he can and will, but this team and their evaluations were piss poor.

I enjoy sports. Played them my entire adolescence and professionally. Big difference in enjoying and melting down every single game.

"That portal class..." was rated #1 by all CB analysts. Blame goes to the players themselves. 100%. Counting his Arizona team's coming within one out from winning the CWS that year, CJJ would have had 3 NC's in 4 years. That one "miss" was his LSU team that year coming within one out from hosting a Super Regional. Safe to assume he's always been "focused" on coaching college baseball.

Jay Johnson missing on an entire portal class is a bigger problem than Perfect Game or Kendall Rogers missing on an entire portal class.
The college baseball analysts didn’t say the worst LSU baseball pitching staff in 40 years was going to be the best staff he’d had here.

I’m mean he’s got a point. I love LSU sports as much as anybody but I’m not going to let an LSU loss in any sport ruin my day or week. There are way more important things in life than to sit around and be depressed over a game that you have no control of and nobody on that team knows who you are or cares about who you are. If they win great, if they lose oh well I’ll just continue living my life happy and hope they win the next game.
