Chester is undoubtedly the weak link on the OL

Then get them some mother fricking ear plugs. That first quarter the offense was moving backward more often than forward.

LSU had 150+ yards in the first quarter.

About Chester, hes super tall for a C, has been the weak link of the line at C. Echols was very highly rated, has great size for C at 6-3 315, I wonder if he'll get a legit shot during the off-season. I'd have to think he was told he'd be given a shot for him to decommit and come here, and it's not like Chester has 3 years experience on him, just one

Jalen Brown or what

Hope Brown got a big payday because he is a bust this year on a bad team.

Wild thing is that he probably would have gotten decent playing time at LSU with Hilton sidelined.

When the OL gives up zero sacks and protects Nuss for the 2nd week in a row, I won't criticize the OL. Couldn't disagree with you more.

Yes!!! And you know what? Probably 50 yards (or maybe more)of that) and at least 1 touchdown was negated by PROCEDURE PENALTIES!!! The SEC competition the rest of the way is going to be, as always, tough. If this insanity continues, it will eventually, almost certainly, cost LSU a ballgame.

Di you really think Brad doesn't work on that? At some point, doesn't it fall on the player?

It does indeed fall on the player, but the fact it was across the board with multiple players points to a lack of preparedness, lack of a silent count, not prepared for Arkansas shifting, etc. Not saying that was definitely a coaching issue, but it needs to be better addressed moving forward.

You just said LSU moved further backwards than forwards. And when someone points out that we had 150+ yards the 1Q, you say we had 50+ in penalties…meaning we had over a 100+ yards in the first quarter when you include penalties. You people bitch about anything. We smoked a solid SEC team on the road. Enjoy it

Brad Davis is probably the best O-Line coach we’ve had in a decade. I’m willing to live with one bad night of false starts.

The OL had a bad night with penalties.

This is what kept LSU from having a great game. The constant mistakes on OL.

Penalties are frustrating - Davis can only coach, mental mistakes are on the individual players. 6 or 7 motion penalties although 2 were on skilled position players. They rushed the ball better and 2 sacks against that schedule is phenomenal. No team is perfect but I’m sure any Head Coach in the country will take our OL over theirs. Pittman one of the best OL coaches in the country had nothing but praise for our OL. Your opinion is your right but it’s wrong.

Agree false starts are largely on the players, but it’s been an issue all year so surely we are implementing something in practice to prevent it

I’m saying that if they don’t get the problem fixed it could eventually cost LSU a win. Procedure penalties are mental lapses and indicate either poor preparation, poor coaching or mental deficiency and are TOTALLY avoidable. Unfortunately, some mentally deficient people on this board are unable to understand that and “just enjoy it”
