Tim McGraw on Childers and Neuheisel show

He was on this morning talking about his lifelong love of the Tigers and about playing Sean Tuohy. They asked if it was hard to play an Ole Miss fan and alum as a LSU guy, and he mentioned that Tuohy was originally from Louisiana. I did not know that.
Tim predicts a win by LSU by 7 on a late TD pass by Harris. Not that it matters.

Didn't realize Tim was an LSU guy. Not a fan of his music, but I like him as an actor.

Although not a fan of him doing the Sandy hook benefit because of the agenda and put on by a gun control group supporting a gun confiscation group...I do like his music and even the movies I've seen him in. Fact he's an lsu fan is even better

I knew he was from Louisiana and had heard he followed LSU, but according to that interview, he is a lifelong Tiger. He even mentioned that his wife is a Miss. State girl, but that when LSU plays them, it doesn't matter because, in his words, he is far more passionate about the Tigers than she is about the Dogs. He went to Northeast La Univ (ULM) and talked about how at his frat they would eat crawfish all day on Saturday and watch the Tigers at night.
He also talked about his dad and how he pitched in four World Series. I remember him vividly with the Phillies in the early 80s, but I didn't know he played with Ron Swoboda on the 69 Amazin Mets.

He played basketball at Ole Miss back when I was at LSU. Because he was from NOLA, LSU fans razzed him pretty good.

Tim had an interview after the song that had the Bear Bryant lyrics came out. He said he hated to sing it, but he had to because he couldn't find an LSU name to replace it with that would flow and you had to give credit to Bear where credit was due.

You do know he doesn't write the majority of his songs. Also, adding an uggh or a nah nanah will get you a writing credit. Ask the rappers.

They used to bring a fish truck once a week from south La.. Crawfish and shrimp on Tuesday.
