very possible because as we know. if we start on a losing streak they will quit on him and who knows then how bad it would get. 5-7, 4-8.

Looking at the schedule ahead, I don't see a path to 8 wins.
Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas A&M are beatable. They aren't the powerhouses that people think they are. plus ULM.

There is a chance, whether you want to believe it or not. Depends on if the team can tune out the distractions off the field...

It’s also the waste of ongoing National Championship momentum in recruiting. That never materialized because Ed mentally checked out the day after he helped guide while staying out of the way of Burrow’s Championship.

I agree with you. LSU is 3-2. They are not beating Alabama, and they will beat ULM. SO that is 4-3. All of the other 5 SEC games are winnable, they are also all possible losses. To me all 5 of those games will play out like the State and Auburn game. LSU will have the opportunity to win them, but could lose them in the 4th Qtr.

I agree that we could beat all of those teams on the right day but I don't think we will. I think going 3-2 against Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas A&M would be pretty decent for this team and that still makes you 7-5 after losing to Bama.

I would agree, since all 5 as of now are 50/50 type games,3-2 is the best case scenario.

Just my 2 cents- but wins alone won’t be the only factor- rather how the team looks and if there are signs of steady improvement. That alone should get them 4 more wins if they do that. With the exception of Bama- the rest of the games are winnable!

I must disagree with Tim here. I think he is completely wrong about this team winning 8 games. No way that happens.

That means only 2 more losses.

So we beat 5 of the next 7.

Nobody in Louisiana wants him to keep his job. We're over it.

You are either replying to the wrong person or didn't read what I said. I absolutely don't think we only lose 2 more games. Hell we might not WIN two more games

With that O-line, not a very good chance.

Also, need to get Kiner the ball more.

He also thought we were crazy for firing Les. He wants LSU to be average, so this take by him is not surprising.

No matter if 9 wins. The system is broken. Can’t judge a coach or staff by one season. It’s a flawed system and must stop.

4-8 is as likely as 8-4.

MSU was the worst SEC team on our schedule. Auburn was probably the second worst.
