Tim with some pretty harsh words from our performance this week (deservedly so). He starts talking SEC around the 8 min mark:

he's not wrong. There's no other reason Missouri would have receivers with no one within 15 yards of them the entire game. And watching the replays, yeah, players were completely out of position, not knowing their assignments, etc all game long. That type of thing is 100% coaching

Stevie Wonder also noticed this. Helen Keller also heard whispers.

If anyone knows about a steep decline, it would be Tim Brando.

Completely agree. The defensive line and LBs were out of position, getting blocked with ease because they pursued incorrectly. And, the secondary was just kinda running around looking at each other. We're left just seeming like we're not trying because we're completely out of the play.

I don't think the adjustments are too hard to make with film study and practice. We have made no adjustments, though, so I wonder what exactly we're doing in prep.

But the defense was better in fall practice than at any point last year. The scary part about that statement is O really believed that. WTF??

Being "outdated" has nothing to do with players not knowing their basic assignments. It's worse than being outdated. It's gross incompetence.

Who told Tim Brando where they should line up?
