Not kissing arse, but I think y’all will take it this weekend. this game just has that feeling to me. I think we actually have a good team this year, but Tiger stadium at night is where dreams go to die.

I felt okay about this game until I saw how we handled the mobile QB against Arizona this past weekend. Granted we ended up winning pretty handedly, but I think Daniels will make us pay with SEC talent surrounding him.

I think Rogers will have his moments and probably throw for a lot of yards, but he is good for a couple mistakes per game. From what I’ve seen y’all’s offensive line is a weakness, but our pass rush thus far has been unimpressive.

I will be there and look forward to my 11th (!) trip to Tiger Stadium, but expect a 31-28 type game in the Tigers favor.

Hope like hell I’m wrong

MSU is a very underrated team. They are in the discussion to be one of the top teams in the SEC. It is going to be a great game

Our team will fight to the end and if you win, it will be a hard fought victory

LSU has lost 22 home games since the start of the 2000 season. 14 of those games were night games.
Of course 7 of those losses were to Bama. TS doesn’t win games unless the teams are very very close talent wise.

To be completely honest with you...

I'm expecting that I'll be drinking a lot

Which I think we are. If this game was played in Starkville I think we’d win by 3-7 points. Personally I like our talent and schemes better than y’all at the moment but I think home field advantage in Tiger stadium switches it to a -3 point line for LSU

We just don’t have the talent depth yet. Most Tiger fans are realistic about this.

State is going to have to make mistakes for LSU to win.
A lot of question marks for the Tigers.

I want very badly to be wrong but im concerned about the air raid offense in a team with 16 returning starters go up again an LSU defense with a patchwork of transfer portal Cbs

As a state fan, I feel good about our matchup against your linebackers. I think they will struggle hence why I said Rogers will have his numbers (350+ yards, 3-4 TD’s) but I think he will also slip up a time or 2 and that’ll be the difference

Our best advantage is it’s a back to back home game for us and back to back away game for state.

Yall will probably run the ball at will on us and also keep us from scoring much unless Daniels does alot of running. Just being real.

I think LSU's offense will have success. Daniels has been cooking, and Miss St's only answer will be to control clock.

My concern is LSU getting off the field on 3rd down. We have to figure something out.

If LSU struggles to get off the field on 3rd down, LSU won't win. Ms St will control the clock enough to keep LSU's offense in check. If LSU does okay on 3rd down, it could be a shootout. If LSU finds success on 3rd down, LSU wins by double digits.

I would not bet on any aspect of this game.

Maybe the over on total points.

I’m worried LSUs offensive line is going to struggle against MSU’s defensive line. The Southern game didn’t show us much but they still struggled to get a run game going. As with every game this game will be decided by the lines and which team can get the most pressure on the QB.

Huh? The mobile AZ QB had -25 yds rushing completed 51% of his passes for 220 yds 1 TD and 3 Ints

And Daniels’ ability to pick up chunks on the ground. State looked really vulnerable to that vs Arizona. Their QB just wasn’t willing to take off and get those easy yards once he escaped the rush. If they blitz a lot, and State always does, he can make them pay and that could be an equalizer.
