In today’s day and age when it comes to the recruiting process for major D1 sports and its athetes if you’re not “cheating” or coming close to crossing ethical boundaries then you’re simply not trying... (Vanderbilt failed to try last year..) every year it’s something new. Last year it was Rick Patino and the escorts provided by him and his staff to the Louisville basketball team and its recruits. Now it’s LSU”s coach Will Wade who has FBI wiretaps with a Mr. Christian an infamous basketball middleman for players and more often then not, adidas partnered schools (Louisville and its whores) On these wiretaps coach Wade is baffled how current tiger J. Smart at the time (top 50 recruit) was considering other schools offers after LSU”s offer was a “strong arse offer” however I fail to see what is incriminating here.. a strong arse offer could be a corner dorm room with a double bed and view of an all female dorm across the quad, free meals at the 5, unlimited campus Taco Bell and a wristband that gets you free crawfish and into all bars in tigerland... people immediately assume a “strong arse offer” is a Porsche, an escort or two and a 100k check stroked out to his mom a local Baton Rouge resident.. people are crazy these days and they believe anything they hear, much less read.....

Since this has all come about prior to the SEC tournament coach Wade has Been suspended from coaching indefinitely and per his lawyers request he has kept his mouth shut, which is smart on his part. By the looks of it, we will not see coach Wade in the coaching box again this year unfortunately and since his suspension the tigers have gone to a “one half only team” meaning we ball the frick out for one half only weather that is the first or second.. then allow a major come back of sorts for a somewhat uncomfortable, nail biting , gamblers poor finish with a no cover (Yale game)

I agree with the phrase “you’re only as good as your horses” meaning if coach K was coaching Vandy this past year they would of still sucked something awful, but obviously a head ball coach is the mold of a good and bad squad of guys. Since Wades suspension that couldn’t be more valid as our tigers haven’t played a full game since... Up by ten points at half In the first round of the sec tournament the tigers managed to not show up the second half and lose the game as favorites. The tigers were up 16 against Yale at the half only to allow them to comeback to lose by 5 when the line was -6.5 tigers.. being a wildcat fan growing up I know about one half teams.. they are hard to watch and it’s even harder to be a fan of said team. You never really know what half it will be but you know sure as the sun will rise you’re team is gonna ball one half and play blind, dumb and deaf in the other... it’s almost comical..almost..

One half team or not the tigers cover against the terps:

I believe our athletes are more talented, longer, faster with more bounce and all in all more athletic then a good terps team who usually plays in a better basketball conference being the Big ten. I also genuinely believe that wasn’t the case this year.. the SEC was rich in basketball talent this year more so then ever (other then Vandy) as it should be. The current line is LSU -2.5 so I do recommend buying the hook and getting the line at tigers -2 and taking them in the money line first half as well.. like I said you never know what half were gonna ball in.. I do think the terps will match up well (starters) but will eventually be worn down by big men Naz Reid and Bigby-Williams. Not to mention the backcourt.. T. Waters and J. Smart are and have been a phenomenal back court duo. A ying to the others yang with very different play style with one being 5.10 and the other 6.3. Waters is a distributor with range, a basketball general with a very high b-ball IQ due to his size, heart and experience as an upper class man. Smart is an 18 year old proven baller with natural raw athletic ability , a slasher with range who can take a body, then another, then body someone at the rim... I strongly believe our starters are better then the terps, our twos our better then the terps, our fans our better then the terps but is our assistant coach better then the terps Head Coach? Time will tell.
