I could be wrong but it seemed like they were just updating the actual video board portion but the footprint and original “frame” of it was remaining the same.

LSU could spend 100 billion dollars updating/improving every aspect of the stadium - and they could solve the traffic problems so that 100,000 people are able to leave the LSU campus simultaneously and be home in 10 minutes and you know what? People will still be here bitching and moaning and the mass exodus out of Tiger Stadium will continue to occur at the same rate at halftime because so many people are miserable and don't really enjoy the sport of football. Whine, bitch, and criticize and then attempt to set new records for Tiger Stadium evacuation time. That describes the majority of the LSU football fanbase.
So here I am complaining and bitching about all of those I just described. Nice!

LSU has never been the one to update everything in one fell swoop. Hence why stadium looks like Frankenstein.

This is true. The reality of this situation is that about half of the people on any given Saturday in the stadium are simply there for a photo op and will almost always leave early unless it’s a 2022 Bama type of game.
People tailgate all day, go to the game, take their pics, get bored and go back to either their tailgate or tiger land. I don’t think this is an LSU only issue. This happens at a lot of places but seems LSU has it a little worse.
Tv doesn’t help when all you see is empty seats. They need to at least find a way to keep people in the seats that are in the TV view.

Because they are just half arse updating it. I don’t think it’s going to be any bigger. The speakers are all underneath so they had to remove it all
