Said it in a similar thread about a week ago, but once again, I actually enjoy the view from up top. You can really watch plays unfold. What I don't like is feeling a little disconnected from the crowd, band, etc. But as long as the sun isn't beating down on you it's not that bad.

those 10 or 15 rows add a couple decibels for big games so lets keep em.

I sat 12 rows from the top in the west upper with season tickets for 7 years. The view was just fine. Wtf are you talking about?

I enjoy sitting down in the bowl more. you actually see the game before the upper decks do. With the speed of light, I know what happens about 100 billionth of second before the people above me.

You lose about 2,000 seats but we still have over 100k. You also make some of those seats more premium by adding cushion seatbacks

You probably woulda been one of those a**bags complaining that LSU didn't have 100K if they did this

I've sat at the top of one of the uppers for a game. The very top! It was not a bad view at all. I really enjoyed the game.

Please go crawl back under that rock. People paid money to watch LSU with a freaking telescope this last weekend - you don't think they want to watch the game at our own house?

I'll bet the top row of NRG is much lower than Tiger Stadium. I was in the 500 level and had an awesome view

I'm actually saying put an awning over the upper decks (kind of like bryant denny or new kyle) with lights on it. Build the awning such that it takes out about 7/8 rows. Now you have covered seats in the upper deck which people will buy and you eliminate the worst of the worst seats. You lose about 2,000 seats but we still have over 100k. You also make some of those seats more premium by adding cushion seatbacks

Not a Bad idea. The only thing I would worry about is the ability for the upper deck to hold up a roof. If its possible, I like the idea of increasing the value of those seats.

have them somewhat free standing coverings. it would also be way to change the outside facade to a more unified look for the whole stadium...

Those seats are high but they are not bad. I'd rather watch a game from the top of the upper decks than the endzone seats.

LOOK who we playing before deciding number of seats you would like removed from the stadium...guess all the new stuff in the SEZ is useless too...
I bet if da gumps were coming this weekend, those seats wouldn't go unsold!!!

I would imagine it would be when it's capacity is not nearly that of Tiger Stadium.
