The scoreboard hasn’t been good since they showed giant Mike the tiger walking through Baton Rouge for pregame.

Agreed, it shows the play and time left, but not down and distance

It's a no brainer, that's what folks want to see - it's so simple. Head scratcher.

It’s literally posted all over the stadium and on the field too. Like in every other version of football.

So damn whiny.

I struggled to find down and distance on my tv at home. I wondered why at the time. This new policy by LSU if you will is even affecting my enjoyment of the game at home.

it can actually be hard to tell from far away, especially if taking place on the other if field

I sit in the south endzone club. Its very difficult to tell distance - and sometimes down - without taking a quick look at the video board.

I'd bet dollars to donuts this DrEdge guy doesn't even attend the games.

I find it astounding that with the new lights and new score board, both are colossal frick ups

I haven't read all the replies, but it's just dumb and useless for the scoreboard to ever have to tell people to get loud. It just naturally happens, and it always has.

Show the main things people want to see: score, yard line, down, distance, game clock, play clock, quarter, time outs remaining.

Those things should be shown from the opening kickoff through the final play.

I attend games and sit in the NEZ. Any other ignorant comments to make?

UCLA was a day game and it didn't get dark until later for Nicholls. This weekend will be a better test

I'll be curious to see if it's any better this weekend. Other schools use their light shows multiple times during the game (team entrance, touchdowns, etc.), not just to start the fourth quarter. Surely we can figure it out.

I actually laughed when I looked up for something and saw the LED lights going on/off when the sun was still beaming straight down on the field.
