I have to decide by next week if I'm going Dish or DTV. I have UVerse right now, and love it...but we're moving. I wonder if DTV will switch from their horrible graphics, menus, and interface to look like UVerse, and how many months at a minimum it would take to make the awitch.

Stephenson said those concerns would be addressed with a number of what he called "unprecedented" commitments. Among them:

- DirecTV would continue to be offered as a standalone service for three years after the deal's closing.

- AT&T would offer standalone broadband service for at least three years after closing, so consumers could consume video from Netflix and other online services, with download speeds of at least 6 megabits per second where feasible.

- AT&T would expand high-speed broadband access to 15 million more homes - beyond the 70 million that could now get AT&T service - within four years.

- AT&T vowed to abide by the open Internet order from 2010 that the Federal Communications Commission is now in the process of revising after a court struck it down.

- AT&T vowed to sell its roughly 9 percent stake in Latin American wireless carrier América Móvil for about $5 billion.

So the internet's gonna get faster, and they're selling a Latin division?

If you go directv let me know so we both can get $10 off our bills with the referral.

The only way i would ever leave DTV is if they were bought out by AT&T.

I will gladly join the hopper to stay away from the dipshits at AT&T. There isn't a company on this planet that has worse customer service than AT&shite.

The good news is you can switch to dish and get a better product and get a discount for the first 12 months

If you are a true sports fan, you shouldn't even mention Dish in the same sentence with DirectV.

So as a Tiger fan, would it benefit me more to have Cox and catch a lot of games on CST or get DTV and have SECn?

Get ATT U-verse if it's available in your area.

football no, but baseball and basketball have been covering a lot.

I have to admit, I'm pretty ignorant to the SECn. Will CST stop airing their usual baseball and basketball games?

can you screenshot uverse's graphics? Because i like DTV's interface.

Cox is the one still stuck in the 80s. At least ours is since we still dont have contour.

Good to know, will be moving into new house at the start of football season. Definitely not going with Cox knowing this. Thanks for the info.
