Not giving up on anyone at this point. Nuss will have the opportunity to show that he can learn to protect the ball. he has a live arm but needs to get out of the mindset that he has to wow everyone when he gets out there. It's not about him. Once he's mature enough to understand that he should settle down and be more efficient. If not then Walker will pass him up but anyone throwing a redshirt freshman under the bus after his first real game experience is a moron.

I was there. Our tickets were SEZ Lower Bowl under the overhang. Nice and shaded.

I don’t think any has given up on a redshirt freshman because he isn’t ready.
Matt Flynn wasn’t a young backup. They were the same age. They both redshirted in 2003.

IDK about that scenario repeating but he didn’t take care of the ball…that’s all. He showed an NFL arm at times. I would not worry about Nuss if he was the starter. With first team reps and a game plan…. We’d be fine.

Daniels could get hurt. There, I said it. Just jinxed the whole season.

Nuss has something to fix between his ears.
Playing in the bowl game might have changed his trajectory, but as is, I don’t think he can lead this team.

He is Jarret Lee 2.0. Which isn't horrible.

I WISH he was Jarrett Lee 2.0, but he has not shown that yet.
