who went out of state relished their success: Collins, Smith, Moses, et al.

Nothing personal against Etienne, just pleased to break the narrative.

It might be childish, but I found a little extra joy in whipping the team that Surtain got torched by last year.

Hopefully Jennings will now return to Purple and Gold. Don’t know why but damned all those folks from Jennings wearing orange pissed me off. LOL

Will LSU pursue his younger brother, or is it a given that he will follow Travis?

Despite what Maria Taylor kept saying, no one from Jennings was pulling for Clemson other than his family. I live here, I know. Jennings always has and always will be LSU country

I would think it was more of a case of not rooting against Travis, but yeah, some of my in-laws live in Jennings, and no way would they be for Clemson just because of him. But none of them were rooting against him and cussing him like some guys do on here.

That is good to hear. I had never really heard before that there was genuine animosity between Etienne and LSU before the comments from his mother about social media threats. His ‘real Death Valley’ comment from a few years ago does not constitute animus in my opinion.

Oh I never believed Jennings was pulling for Clemson.

No-one should hold anything against him. He's done well and Miles dropped that ball.

We’re lucky they abandoned the run because he was averaging 5-6 ypc

Etienne is great, but I'm glad we have CEH. If I had to choose, CEH is my choice. In fact, one of the ESPN draft gurus has CEH as a higher draft choice over Etienne.

His quote on signing day indicates otherwise on his side.

Agreed. CEH has the heart to go with his immense talent.

Etienne is talented, no doubt. But I'm really tired of the "Louisiana kids need to leave Louisiana in order to win big" narrative. Hearing how far Jennings is from the Superdome over and over and over was

A. Other than his 29 yard run he was contained quite well.
B. They abandoned the run because they were down 10-17 points.

Must be living in two different Jennings.

I asked before. Did we ever see any actual evidence that there were threats made to him Before the game or was that just hyperbole from his mom?

Etienne came out strong but for LSU to hold him under 100 the way he was running hard in the 1st quarter I thought was the difference in the game. Queen was all over him all night.

"I will be taking my talents to the Real Death Valley!"

I knew that quote would come back to bite him one day.

Isn’t there some history of Mom claiming threats previously? I never saw any evidence, just her statements.
