I am in no way, shape or form a McMahon apologist. He should've been fired after EITHER of the last 2 seasons.
But you can watch any college game around the country with that SAME EXACT situation, and be hard pressed to find a team get a better shot than we got at the buzzer today.
I'll give credit where it's due.

You make a good point, that wasn't the ideal shooter. Mackinnon would've been.
But don't you think the faggies knew this?
I think it was a great design, especially with no timeouts going full court in 4.3 seconds. It's obvious to me that this play has been practiced by the team for this exact situation.
And I've wanted this SOB gone for 2+ seasons, so I'm not AT ALL a McMahon supporter.

It doesn't matter if they know it's going to McKinnon, you have to draw it up and the players have to execute it. Do you rather McKinnon taking that shot or Mosley ( who has only taken 6 3's all year )? That's like saying you'd rather Danny Ainge to take the last shot over Bird because they know it's going to Bird. That's bullshite.

Maybe you don't know this, but Mosely is a great outside shooter. But I get it, the Rant knows player abilities more.

But I will absolutely try my best to be fair.
We couldn't have asked for a much better look than we got at the end.
And if you don't think a defense can COMPLETELY take away your top option for a three point attempt (especially having to go full court in just 4 seconds), than WOW!!!!

It was a well executed play that obviously was practiced. It was designed solely for that situation.
I suspect with our starting PG out, the kid who shot took his place, but just guessing. Apparently our back up PG isn’t as good so he came out.

He hadn't played all game, has played less than 10 minutes in the last 4 games combined and has had 1 3-pointer in that stretch. Mackinnon on the other hand hit 4 of his 9 three-point attempts yesterday and has hit 12 threes in his last 4 games. Mackinnon would have been the much better option by anyone's standard. He was pretty much the only reason we were in the game.

Well then he needs to correct that pronto. Hell, Mackinnon hit the backboard attempting to throw one of the passes in earlier in the game as pointed out earlier.
