I agree. It was not that bad. It was good advertising for Saturday's 2:30 game on CBS.

Yet CBS is still going air SEC games this year (and have been airing games already this season). So, you can calm down bro. This was a good piece for Coach O and LSU.

Uh I know it was. I stated that as the OP

There’s no way that was going to be a hit piece. The networks are already struggling because they’re limited in what they can produce right now. CBS needs the revenue from SEC football.

That was an excellent story on Coach O and LSU. Great publicity for Coach O and LSU. I was pleasantly surprised.

It’s the media.

other than the Guice mention.

No idea why they slipped that statement in and it had no relevancy to anything else in the piece

Liberal media against College Football thought they'd hit Coach O for being such proponent of it being played.

This shite is all in your head.

Hell yeah I do in 2020. Have you watched the CBS evening news? Do you ever listen to CBS top of the hour news updates on the radio? Even CBS Sports Radio host Zach Gelb went off on the SEC and ACC for being so irresponsible by playing this year. So my answer is yes a big fricking yes

No they didn’t. They simply asked the question of “should it be played” and given that this is a novel virus, it’s a legitimate question. You are just so obsessed with college football that you believe it’s far more important than it really is. That along with the fact that any minor inconvenience to your life means the Sky is falling to you. You can’t imagine life beyond yourself.

Mason and maybe Muschamp are the only coaches who could hope to get in the ring with O

I don't think that at all. Coach O has been on more National TV interviews than any coach in College Football History during a 6 month period. LSU was the most searched College team in the history of the internet in 2019. LSU is on the top of the world right now so this thought is not valid with me, sorry

If the Big 10 had held firm on not playing, you better believe it would have had a different tone.

Therein lies the answers.
No matter where you fall politically, or what you believe about the media (in specificity or generally)...

CBS is affiliated by contract with the SEC and both are making boat loads of cast in normal years. One gets used to such, and when you loose it you want it back.

Don't forget CBS also owns 247sports. If it was going to be an all-out hit piece (there are numerous iterations of such) there would have been lead-ins there.

They’re not going to be willing participants in a story that largely paints the program in a bad light. Duh
i mean ... no one willingly consents to a hit piece.

Over all...good. They did do a couple of the standard lib media... the players are not being paid. Risky to play because of China virus...blah blah blah

WTF are you talking about? Seriously? I run a company with locations in 4 states and 238 employees.I'm on the Board of Directors for three different 501C's.

I chair an organization that travels to Curahuasi, in the Andes Mountain range to help children from underprivileged families and ethnic minorities along with children who have disabilities.

I have three extremely active kids of my own.

LSU Football and TRant are hobbies for me, so get outta here with your BS.You obviously have no clue about my life.
