I have a simple question:

If your one reason for sobriety suddenly faced issues with the problem; after addressing it, it was ignored; you suddenly found yourself walking along looking for something and not sure what you're looking for (every divorced dude knows that feeling); you were rolling in money; and you needed something to fill the void, how far off the wagon would you fall?

Now add in meddling by the administration mid covid, to the point that a few of the african american players have even stated division was created on purpose, staff changes not based on merit, and a sudden realization that the deck was stacked against you...

Would you still give 110%? Or would you soothe yourself with blondes, beers, and beaches?

I can fault the guy for a lot of bad decisions, throwing his hands up and just saying frick it isn't one of them. It would take a lot less than a divorce and 40 million for me.

There's a lot of reaching going on in this post...but O coming back to recruit is 100% good in my book. Lane being sober and keeping him in check will be a win for us all.

That's what everyone should do when faced with adversity in their job that is paying them millions. Just silently quit but continue to collect a check and behave like a teenager until you eventually get fired.

Is it 100% confirmed O is coming back?

Bringing O in as some kind of recruiting coordinator is a low risk, high reward move in my back.

He obviously has a lot of familiarity with Frank, Raymond, Kiffin, and others, as well as the program.

He also became sort of a cult hero in 2019.

What's the actual risk? You fire him if he sucks, and he goes back to Destin.

I love how every alcoholic on this website seems to think you're not allowed to drink if you're a football coach.

The reason to worry would be O getting Landry out to da camp to sabotage the HC like he's done before.

I think it will be great. My question is who is better for recruiting: Frank or O?

Why not both?

I hope it is both. I was just wondering, I saw that Lane is most likely bringing his RB coach.

After what happened when he was let go at LSU acting like a fool back in the bottle chasing multiple hoes. Do you really think he's going to carry the same clout on the recruited trail as he did before? Lot of Mamas aren't going to like that.

Anyone who speaks bad of O is as dumb of a fan that there is.

I will never trust O again, no matter what. But I’m ok with him coming back as the DL Coach and to recruit. He has a lot of upside in that specific role and there’s only so much he can frick up as a position coach.
