just wait till they tell you that they are gonna send an installation tech to the address you give them....lol....im glad im doin this tonite because maybe by some miracle i will have it by 4pm tomorrow afternoon...

i just dont understand....if you live in a certain area (TN), but yet you are somehow able to get the feeds for Louisiana local channels....whats the big deal? i mean, we arent stealing anything, just replacing what we dont watch with something we wanna watch....

What did you tell them when they said they were gonna send movers?

guys.. all i said to them was that i was going to be in Baton Rouge for a few weeks, taking my dish and receiver and wanted to change my service address to receive BR area programming.. i said i want to keep my billing address since i would be back in a few weeks.. i was on the phone for 3 minutes total and she took care of it..

that being said, i have all of the NO local channels and CST showing on my guide, however, the channels are still black.. im going to try to point my dish like the poster described above..

well.....by the time connie chow told me that i would need an installation tech, i had just about had it.....i said, mam, i do not need an installation tech....i have a dish installed already in the guesthouse from before....all i need is for you to transfer my feed address and keep my billing address in TN because i will only be in Louisiana for a couple of weeks and i will return to tennessee then.... well, then she said....well im gonna send an installation tech to the address youve given me.....and with that, i said everything i just said above except in CAPS....obviously they dont train people because u can talk to 5 different people and get five TOTALLY different answers. Abdul, the first dude i talked to, i could not understand one freakin word he said...i had no idea whether he could change it or not....he was absolutely no help....and he was on top of all the freakin numbers you have to push just to GET to him....

I think it would be easier for me to find a flight, find a hotel, find TICKETS and just go to the game than it is for these dorks to push a button...its almost comicle....

I just checked, and I have the BR local networks, but no CST channel 421. Gonna re read this thread, seems like someone else had that issue.

What channel is Angela Hill on in N.O. on dish? lol I have no idea what i have now....but when i hit 421, it skips to 437 or some shite...

i also followed someones advice to go to dish chat.....well im kinda leary about that chat crap, whenever they have that with a business its never live chat.....but ok, i tried.....so when i explained that i took the box with me to NO so id have Dish for the week or so im here, well....whoever it was in chat screamed at me and said "THAT IS NOT YOUR BOX, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGFHT TO TAKE THAT BOX OUT OF YOUR RESIDENCE" followed by "IM SORRY YOU HAVE HAD DIFFICULTY, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP YOU WITH" FML
