those are the expanded sports channels. All the fox channels around country.

You guys really should try the NO/BR address trick.

Ok...so what exactly do we have to do since we arent in louisiana? wouldnt the dish guy have a question with giving them a n.o. or b.r. address when they see their equipment is in tennessee? i dont mean literally seeing it, but wouldnt their computer system throw up a red flag sayin "UH OH...ANOTHER LSU FAN GIVING A BOOGUS ADDRESS IN N.O. TO WATCH THE LSU GAMES""THEY WILL STOP AT NOTHING!"

Surprisingly enough, I don't think that they can do that. I used to move my cox box to my friends house sometimes for parties and they would still shoot it a signal even though it was at a house that only had direct tv. They communicate w/ the box, doesn't matter where it is.

There is no gps in you box. I do however suggest unplugging phone line or Dara network it is on.

Did they let you keep your same billing address or did you have to change your address completely?

Daigeaux tell them you heading to that area in your RV and you want to watch the local TV for traffic & weather then change it back on Monday. just a suggestion. Or think of some other excuse.

Several years ago when I had Directv and they didn't offer local channels I did some research and found out that Colorado got the East coast and West Coast feeds for the local channels. I pulled an address in Denver that had my same last name and called DTV and told them I had a job transfer and was boarding a plane for Colorado and wanted the system on when I landed. I gave them the address and went inside and had the locals I wanted. As long as you dont have a phone line hooked up I don't think they check.
