Wrong again. First you say La. is small and not that good so Les has to recruit out of state. Next you try to change it to La. doesn't produce QBs, and you're still wrong. La. is fourth on this chart for Pro QBs in recent data. I'm not sure where your judgement comes from but mine comes from facts. As I said, no state produces more Div 1 or Pro talent per capita than La.

Are you even thinking this through? You know 2 of those 3 QB's listed are the Mannings, who were OM legacies and the elder of which graduated High School 20 years ago. Also, it is from 2012 and shows 32 starts which all belonged to the Mannings.

You should feel bad about this.

So if football revenue is great enough that we don't need to worry about expenses, why do we need to drive up revenue again?

Lol do you think millionaires want to stop making money just because they are already rich? You cant settle with what you have. Thats the problem with some of the fanbase now. Lets settle and hit rock bottom.

Im not going to even address the post you made about Miles performing well at his job because clearly you havent watched LSU football. You think Alleva gives 2 shits about how many hours Miles works? Hell no. He cares about championships

lol at you. Millionaires? What Millionaires? You are talking about a NFP org. But still, you think it is the millionaire mentality to spend millions in order to perhaps increase revenue, by some unknown amount.

Well you did just address it. And if he cared about championships maybe he should word his contracts differently.

Any millionaire in society. I'm not talking about staff members at LSU. Yes you spend millions to make millions. What do you think LSU is currently doing? What do you think they did when they expanded Tiger Stadium? What do you think they did when they built e new Alex Box?Do you not understand that concept of business?
He damn sure doesn't have the amount of hours he needs to work in his contract. That's retarded

Wrongo.

Same 4 or 5 fricking formations all the time. I have never seen a man in motion to determine what type of coverage the D is using.

Fans who want better for our team, and who would think it's reasonable to expect our team to field a competent offense are not miserable people. They simply are people who want better for their team. It's wonderful if you still have an eight year old's heart, but an eight year old's logic ------ not so much.

That's all good, but LSU fans seem to enjoy tearing up and spitting out our own... You know, people who actually work pretty hard to accomplish those things for us. It's an epidemic passed on from one half interested father to his half interested son, who all have absolute opinions, despite any fricking perspective at all.

It's more of a pastime to have nasty, negative opinions of anything and everything LSU, and yap about it at work, the grocery store, the Huntin' camp, or message boards than it is to stay until the fourth quarter to cheer those same hard workers on.

It's a shame, and it doesn't really matter who coaches here, it's a spirit of backbiting that won't be successful.

Your argument was that LSU could just recruit Louisiana talent and be successful. That is laughable. The state does not produce enough Lineman, linebackers and quarterbacks at a regular pace for that line of thinking to be true.

Still having difficulty with reading comprehension I see, I made no argument at all but rather stated if a coach could keep the best La. talent in state, they would always be strong. The data still supports that statement.

Of course position strength of in-state recruits varies from year to year, so out of state recruits are needed based on needs of team and availability etc. Also, the top tier teams are able to pull recruits nationally, so it's a sign of strength when you can. But, FIRST you have to control your own border and not lose the best La. talent, also an indicator of your overall strength as a program.

You disagree but have not presented any data for your position. You still cannot refute that La. produces more Div1 and Pro talent per capita than any state. ESPN just named LSU as 5th easiest school to recruit for same reasons as above. Meanwhile, you've proven nothing but your poor reading comprehension.

Sometimes I'm not sure what's better: Listening to the 15 minutes of Ravel's Bolero or reading the cynicism on the Rant...Or perhaps someone needs to write a song and record it by the title "Tigerdroppings Blues"...Make sure the strings on the guitar are dead so it sounds like something coming from the cottonfields of the Mississippi Delta.

I hope some of these negative Nancies try and vote with their feet and not come to games next year. I would love to upgrade my seats but the main thing is I'm tired of hearing the constant bitching and moaning in the stands.

I'd like to think other fan bases don't have the mass of negative, miserable people that LSU's does.
