Folks need to realize LSU has the best local college baseball broadcasts in the nation it ain't close.

Truth. I watch a ton of college ball and I get it, Lyn is pretty goofy, but even then he's top notch. He'll drop some Pineville-isms but he's better than 99% of college baseball guys out there.
Ben is top notch and he's improved every season.

Lyn should have gotten the LSU job. A distinct voice unlike the guy we got from GA Southern. I can't even remember his name.

The turning the clock back discussions were funny. Lyn is very concerned about his alarm not going off and telling everybody if they want to be at 7 to set their alarm for 6. Ben said: “if you set it for 7 on your phone, it’ll go off at 7, I promise”. Lyn then requested Ben to call him to make sure.

Lyn (just 1 n BTW) is great. Easy to listen to.
No idea how it happened but he called a game for Auburn last year vs Vandy. Does he regularly call games for other schools?

Lynn Rollins is dog shite. But this is coming from a fan base that loved Hawthorne who would call a kick off returned to the 40, across midfield, then ten seconds later say it’s first and ten from the twenty.

Lyn actually now resides in Auburn, so that is the connection. I think maybe he has a daughter there. He actually has to commute in to BR to do the LSU games.

I used to be somewhat annoyed by him when I first remember hearing him, 2008 maybe?
But man he's really grown on me and I don't want to hear anyone else call an LSU baseball game.

Chris Blair is a very polished professional with an excellent voice. He just needs to be paired with a better color guy.

I loved Hawthorne, but you are absolutely right about his crazy, inaccurate calls. Rollins is a great personality, a great voice, and he calls games well. Your disdain for him is bizarre.
