The upcoming 4 games will tell us a lot about this years team. I say we go 3-1 over the next 4 games.

If we go 2-2 or worse...Fire CPM. That's a given at this point.

I agree with you.

I think CPM has these guys ready to go. Got to come out looking sharp against LA Tech on Wednesday night.

If we get swept....many will immediately call for Paul's head.

If we sweep.....the other half will be ready to declare us national champs!!

Thus, the idiocy of the rant.

My guess is 2/2,3/1

We should beat tech and okla(game 3)

We could beat Texas , we gotta hit.

How is Baylor?

I genuinely laughed out loud because I’ve seen similar threads in past.

Hopefully positive, because right now I'm pretty disenchanted, and I am a long time LSU baseball fan, season ticket holder. And of all of the stupid reasons, the biggest one for me right now came at the start of the 9th on Saturday. We had suffered through a lack-luster, uninspiring loss to an inferior opponent on Friday night, but Marceaux gave us something to be excited about despite another day of LSU batters looking mostly lost at the plate. He had the opportunity for a rare complete game shutout. He had only thrown like 75 pitches or so, so plenty left in the tank. For the first time this season, There was a little bit of buzz, something special in this young season to witness this kid achieving something great.

And Paul pulled him and put in a reliever. I left. I heard that George gave up 3 runs, but that isn't the issue. The issue is that, aside from being yet another poor coaching decision, it was simply a dick move that took away the chance for something special for no good reason whatsoever.

I was in Omaha in 2009, I appreciate everything that Paul has done for the program, but I'm ready for a change. And, obviously, it's not due to this one thing, this just happened to be the moment for me that I realized that I'm done with him. That said, I'll continue to be in the stands supporting this team and I hope they make it to Omaha.

You are usually very level headed, but i dont see this as a reason for a complaint on this. If it were late march or april you would have a point, but in his 2nd start building up arm strength, they didnt want to risk it. Marceaux even said he understood after the game

I would think that they wanted to see what George could do in that situation after he looked so good in his previous outing.
