This team is the absolute ceiling for LSU as long as WW is coach.

This team could make a sweet 16, *maybe* an elite 8, but absolutely nothing more. The lack of plan and lack of discipline is absolutely ASTONISHING.
To everyone who will get pissed because I’m not pumping sunshine—how could we get better? We’re not gonna assemble a more talented roster. The only option is coaching.

We were previously in the sweet sixteen (would have gone further had he coached the tournament) with an SEC championship under Wade.

He’s probably right, talent might not ever be this good. Coaching, team decision making is pretty bad, and both may improve, but it’s very questionable

In a non-Covid season where we get to play 35 games, a lot more can happen. This team started to gel the week before the SECC, but they never had the momentum in Gel mode to pull off a few more critical wins. Some bad losses in the second half of February cursed this squad from getting a better seed.
Let's see who comes back and what next year brings. If its a complete re-boot, then it'll be a while.
