I doubt this is true. And, if you aren't working for LSU or the sports media, it is pretty weird to "study this team as much as possible."

How can you say a team is legit When they haven’t played a down yet? i will wait and see it certainly sounds like a legit team but let’s see how they perform on the field first before we say they are legit. Now optimism? You should be optimistic about this team everyone should.

To your point it's true and I'll add win the SECC. The dry spell against Bama has to end hopefully this team can do it! I wouldn't be surprised if they did it this year with this team but I also wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.

I would agree with respect to our defensive line. I love our 2-deep on the line and love our backers as well. That said, I still have big questions about our O line. They were bad last year (though our play calling and scheme didn’t do the line and favors). There’s no doubt in my mind this team will be at least good. How much the o line improves I think will be the difference in being just good or possible “legit” or great.
