You are just assuming Van Buren would have replicated the good plays Nussmier had and tacked on positive running plays on top of that. He may have had more negative plays and interceptions.
Play him and if the Tigers win with him looking good at QB, yall can go paint all the Van Buren Street signs in Baton Rouge P&G.

I think if we improve some on O everything is still on the table. I never thought I would see Vandy near the top in the SEC. Crazy.

Vandy got a QB who can pass and run, so far we got neither. Nuss has had a lot of time to improve I just don't see it this year, for his sake I hope its something physical holding him back and goes to have an NFL career. But, we should have given the backup QB a series or 2 in OM game.

Rankings are window dressing at the start of the year…the issue is the OL/QB/RBs and WRs are in order Awful, bad, non existent and a lot of drops/bad routes running.
This is what’s concerning and Kelly literally acts like nothing is wrong/can’t improve anything in game or before the game. Why does he get $10M a year?
Guaranteed overall CFB has declined due to players having all the leverage (portal/NIL etc) and lack of fundamentals (form tackling, blocking schemes, etc) It’s all highlight wannabes and NIL deals. As I said before the season they have a lot harder schedule, unproven OL that needed to gel/play as a unit and QB that needed to step up and non of that has happened in the Offense side of the ball! The Defense has been good but you can’t win having them on the field 40-45mins even versus and average team like Ole MS that get tired, miss tackles/assignments and get 3-4busted plays and LOSE because the Offense did nothing to help win.

Surely you must realize that the level of play that LSU has shown is no where near the top 11 teams in America. If there are not MAJOR changes in every area offensively, LSU will not be in the top 30 at the end of the season.

I think that’s why it hurts more.. it was a winnable game and we were the better team. I think this is exactly how ole miss felt last year. They were the better team/roster and had the lead and choked it away.
