LIke literally, the ESPN crew basically just called us below average on defense just now on TV. If this does not wake up the defense! We need the dominance back on D!

The defense is what it is. There is no waking up. We can execute better for sure, but unless Aranda changes the scheme, all we can hope to do is play as well as we can.

Giving up meaningless scores when the game is already in hand shouldn’t matter.

I agree with what they said. The D has put together great halves but not a complete game. It does show they have the ability.

Disagree. The defense has played great in the first half in the last 3 games, but have given up a multitude of big plays in the 2nd half of those games.

Honestly, I don't think it does but it will piss off Joe and that's fine by me

Yep. When you hear Rob Mullens say repeatedly “complete team” and “both sides of the ball” when referring to OSU, that tells you they see LSU’s
defense as suspect justifying the drop to #2. If that kind of bulletin board material doesn’t get this D (coaches and players) fired up then nothing will.

How is OSU’s defense better when they almost lost to a back up QB on a team with a shitty offense? Lololololololol

The D has played perfectly fine when the games were ever in doubt. Sorry our offense is so good that we get up at least 3 scores by halftime.

Did you even watch the game? That game was never in question. Penn State only had 227 yards of offense and the buckeyes damn near had 500 yards of offense.

I did see Arkansas gave you guys a game in the first half and they dominated the time of possession. But I would never say they were in jeopardy of beating LSU, but I actually watch the games instead of looking at the score

I personally feel that it shouldn’t take dropping to number 2 to “wake up”

That’s gonna piss Burrow off even more. Looks like we are going to score 60 now!

It won’t wake up this defense- they are in a constant state of slumber- they’ve had numerous so called wake up calls throughout the season and they don’t wake up. This won’t do it. They will continue to give up big plays, long scoring drives, and lots of points.

They gave up late TDs to Texas, Auburn and Bama (the latter the most inexcusable of them all) which had us sweating bullets over onside kicks. “Perfectly fine”? Hardly.
