I purposely watched Clark on just about every defensive possession and it was laughably bad lol. I specifically remember in the 3rd quarter around 6-7 min mark, UCLA ran to the outside for about a 2 yard gain but I noticed Clark in the outside being blocked and he did this weird stiff spin move that completely put his back to the ball lol. It was so bad and weird I just laughed

Actually a bad angle for the video. He was in pursuit down the line when the other defender flashed in front. The spectacular athleticism allowed him to appear to continue his pursuit but he off angle and trying to catch his balance so he reached and touched. The guy flashing in should have turned him back for a big smack from the inside out pursuit

Looked like one outfielder yielding to another: "You take him."

I'm not sticking up for his play but that angle doesn't properly show the separation. Makes it look like he just whiffed him on by but I think the reality was he had no chance.

The days of Devin White, Patrick Queen, Kwon Alexander and Deion Jones feels like decades ago

Can we finally put the 18 bullshite to bed?

This is what orgeron wants. He’s intentionally sullying a tradition because he had no part in creating it.

But wait a minute here, we hired an NFL defensive backs coach to be DC and all the Cheerleaders told us he'll be the GOAT at LSU!

Where were the adjustments/corrections during the game? Did yall see any adjustments? I didn't see any adjustments.

#8 is really a LB playing the DE position, can't really handling the bigger OL. LSU is basically playing a 2 man DL front box ended with some LBs. The over the top LBs have no real ability to play football.... they don't hit the holes, and don't clean up.... can't cover the field at all either.

Other than a few notables (White and maybe 3 or 4 other ones) over the years, generally speaking LSU has had poor LB performance. The solution was there was always the next great safety or two back there to keep it under control.

Now you have terrible LB play with no real good safety support = bad defense.

Should have ran to the bench and stayed there.

So 18 went to one of the worst players on the team and 7 completely gave up at the end. Great tradition.

Meanwhile we had kids on the bench dying for playing time.

We needed max effort.

What can you adjust when the players can’t execute a basic call? There are limits to what coaching can fix. Even Saban couldn’t fix our 2001 secondary.

I’m not giving Jones a free pass, but we KNOW Clark and Harris can’t get it done. Why are we not going any deeper into the bag than Strong and Toles to try and address that? Is that Jones, O, or both making that call? THIS is a bigger issue than whether we tried to adjust defensive calls in-game.

Exactly... I said it last night during the game... Ed O has officially lost his job because of Damone Clark and Todd Harris. I do not know what it takes for the staff that coaches the team to see what we see. I do not care how good of teammates or practice players they are. Those two should not be on the roster let alone seeing the field at LSU. They just are not good. Where the fck is White and Sampah? Like man they must be awful huh?

BJ showed once again he can’t hold the edge.

He did hold the edge. He made the RB cut up inside so the LBs can do their jobs.

No one was there to make the play. He should have been going all out to pursue though once the RB got past him.
