this place is getting as toxic as the SEC rant

Reading down this board, all you read from the same posters repeatedly is that Marcus Freeman is better than Kelly and That Kelly is horrible. LSU is entirely doom and gloom; Notre Dame has the better coach. Even after LSU wins that final bowl, pulls in a great transfer portal class, and finishes top-five recruiting, people continue to cry, bitch, and whine. It’s impressive and genuinely pathetic
Hate to break it to all those people bitching and crying nonstop, wanting Kelly gone, but he’s not going anywhere for another 3 to 4 years, so get used to him. He’s here for the long haul.

There’s been an overreaction but today’s game invalidated the premise of BK leaving ND.
In hindsight there was no reason for him to leave ND, because what he implied was impossible at ND (beating an SEC heavyweight) turned out to be possible.

It’s bc they forget that BK made the semifinals once or twice and the championship game once while at ND. They forget that BK took over a 6-7 team that was well below the allowed number of scholarship players while Freeman took over an 11-2 team. They also forget that LSU plays in the SEC and ND as an independent. Playing 2-3 SEC teams over 3 seasons is a little different than playing them week in week out.
