It’s a good thing we’ve avoided disaster since pulling him

It’s a good thing that you knew how it would play out, right? How did you know, exactly? That’s a unique ability.

Thank goodness he pulled Marceaux so they didn't hit any more bombs off of him.

I understand why he pulled him. He was off from the start.

Yesterday was bad, but the writing was on the wall with Landon.

It’s 9 to fricking 2 brah

Our bullpen being dogshit wasn’t a surprise to anyone

But you and beefense feel free to pat yourself on the back because you think it was genius to pull our literal best pitcher in a season-ending elimination game

There is 0% chance Tennessee would have 9+ runs right now if Landon was still pitching.

All that said, all the pitching debates are fun and all, but the way we’re hitting wasn’t going to get it done regardless of how we pitched.

FYI, to all the dumbass fair weather fans who just started watching, CPMs strength is managing his pitchers . Marcewaux was done and couldn’t throw the ball. If you could not see that, please don’t wath baseball

11-2 now. You knew that would happen too, though.

Sure it was. People praised the pitching in Oregon and now it was expected they wouldn’t do well.

The literal best pitcher disagrees with you and agreed with the coach. I guess he should pay himself on the back also.

Prove it.

There is zero way to know what WILL happen. The only thing to go off of is what is happening and if you couldn't see that Marceaux was tired and he wasn't sharp, then I can't help you.

Sure, looking at it in hindsight it didn't work. But you can't argue with the reasoning behind it. You could see even Landon agreed with it. Did y'all just miss that shot in the dugout??

You only pull them when they are getting hit hard and in trouble. PM quite obviously had his mind made up pregame when he was going to pull them both.
The strangest part is that he inserted the equivalent of mid week freshmen starters in the most important game of the season in the 4th inning....virtually just giving up. Edwards would have been about the 5th pitcher in line for me to insert at that point. PM had an amazing knack of making the exact wrong move with pitchers at the exact wrong time. It was way past time for him to depart. LSU baseball fans deserve so much better.
