This LSU basketball team is actually pretty dang good.

Days is that guy.
Reid gives you the presence on the inside both ways.
Eason off the bench can do it all.
Pinson is that senior PG.
Gaines is elite defensively on ball and runs the offense well. (Also think he will finish games as PG with Pinson at SG).
Mwani and Brandon get it done at the wings.
Fudge didnt do anything tonight but we know his potential.
This team is a lot better than I expected. I’ll wait and see what happens when we play a top 25 team of course, but the last 2 teams we have played are NCAA tourney teams with talent and coaching. The best part is that WE FINISH. We’ve been so good in the final 4-8 minutes which is immense. LETS GOOOO.

Same old LSU team if you ask me.
Stupid mistakes - lane violation on a free throw, throw the ball out of bounds on inbound pass, foul a guy before the inbound pass on the other side of the court.
Liberty looked like they invented the pump fake tonight on the court.
They literally only have Days that can hit a shot and he’s streaky.

Murray hit four 3s the other night and was shooting 57% from 3 going into tonight.
They will need some guys other than Days to step up to make outside shots, but this team does not look like the others defensively. They are long and cause a lot of turnovers and shot clock violations.

Disagree. Last two years, a 10 point lead with 1:00 remaining was a nail biter. We seemingly gave up 3 after 3 after 3, to go along with all that dumb crap you mention......so far this year - not so much

I want this team to win games and get to elite 8’s and final fours.
But this team is not doing that.
This team may get to the sweet 16 - but thats about as good as it gets.
Oh I think Days just hit the deck and slid 10 feet again.
I love Wade and I hope this team goes far.
But just the small things - they still DO NOT do well. Very undisciplined and silly mistakes.
Liberty had a bunch of “hard working, lunch pail” guys and an undersized athletic guard and we had a hard time on offense tonight.

Any complaints about LSU from distance so far this year are unfounded. They were 46.8% from 3 going into tonight and finished at 36% tonight. 36% aint bad at all honestly.
IF this team stays healthy anything short of a sweet 16 would be disappointing IMO.
