martin has terrible hands. mickey puts himself in bad spots by spinning right into help or picking up his dribble in a bad area

This game falls on coaching.
Jones not calling a TO when aTm is running. Call it when they get down by 2 call a set play get a bucket and you are back in business. But instead we continue to spot up threes and miss it, and aTm gets a 2 point lead and we only lead once after that.
Down by two TO late in the game, no sign of a set play out of the Timeout we don't get a good shot.
LSU misses a shot to tie the game under 35 seconds it takes us 10 seconds to foul. This again was out of a timeout, how do you not say to your players foul if you miss.
I also don't understand why with our length and athleticism we don't press. We always sit back let them leisurely take it up the floor, not playing to our strengths and our defense lays an egg. Even when we need to press we don't press. We are a transition team with great post players, but we never press and we spot up way to much.
All of this is a sign of a poor coach.

We dont press because of a lack of depth. Thats on jones for not developing epps and bridgewater and elbert earlier in the year. They are plenty capable.

It doesn't matter that we tied it back up. The fact that he let them take the lead without burning a TO is bad coaching. When a team gets on a run you call a TO especially when you have a good lead and they just cut into it. You don't let a team especially at home, continue to have momentum and the crowd into it. Calm the crowd down, get a good play called and get back to a 4 point lead. If we did that instead of letting them take a 2 point lead than us tieing it we may have won this game.

It diesnt matter how many we scored after their 12-0 run..most coaches will call a timeout at latest a 6-0 run...so if we score 4 after the.timeout we are up 10 again rather than only 4 and our room for mistakes is wider.
There is no excuse to allow a 12-0 run when yu are sitting on every timeout
