We have a talented roster, let's play with who we have and focus on this season. Sure we could add depth with a couple of guys, but the penalties and fight isn't worth it. We need to focus on our season.

Yep. Just ask General Custer how that turned out for him.

Yea I agree allowing pro players into the shouldn’t be allowed.
RJ shouldn’t be allowed (sorry if that offends).

But the SEC picking and choosing who is allowed to have a 6th year or went to a mini-camp never signed a contract but gets a TRO and now is allowed to play is absolutely worth the fight imo. It’s the principle. Judge fairly and accurately or stfu.

We arent dying on any hill. We voted yes for the rules, remember? If they players choose to sue, that is on them.

Exactly. This era of suing for eligibility needs to end.

Let’s let Lane decide on whether it’s worth it

With litigation pending, I don’t think it’s up to Lane or LSU. I think the SEC came up with some superficial crap for PR. They don’t supercede a court’s ruling and they know that.

I mean in that sense, smart move by Sanky. Make it the most hassle to fight against that LSU just gives up.

I’m ok either way. Not a big deal to me. But if LSU fights it, just hire some folks to take care of it and focus on football

It's a player lawsuit and it's all about money. I think they'll think differently about it than you do.

The next step is SEC teams declaring that they will not play other teams that violate the rule. That is what ended the Sorsby affair, not any TRO, injunction, or league rule. The SEC is trying to sidestep that mess hoping that LSU backs down.

And sorry but Lane Kiffin should not be the one who decides whether LSU complies with the rule. The long-term impact on LSU and LSU athletics must be decided by the University President.

The ole miss would be without Trinidad. UT would be without their tackle.

1) the semantics arguments over laguage are always stupid. "we" is LSU. The team WE all support.

2) He is specifically talking about Lane Kiffin and the staff. Focus on the task at hand, not this other bullshite. Don't go on McAfee to tell your side and continue to fight this. Focus on Clemson and figure out the 5 for 5 guys if they somehow become eligible.

Its similar to the Sorsby situation in that at some point, the juice just isn't worth the squeeze.
