This is when I realized that our offense was dysfunctional.

When we were behind late in the game by two touchdowns and then again by three touchdowns JD continued to throw 5 to 7 yards throws only. Was it the Coach's play calling that caused this or was it JD's inability to throw effectively on downfield passing? The FSU defense and Coaches knew this and packed the line and played tight man on man for the short game LSU was playing and it shut us down. Good Coaching on their side. Our Coaches better change this or this will be a very long and disappointing season. Come on Tigers fix it.

JD doesn’t take many chances, but y’all have to understand that Denbrock was always a terrible hire.

They were check downs all those throws. Unless a receiver is comply wide open, JD will not throw it.

HE CAN'T THROW SOMEONE OPEN and WILL NOT let a receiver FIGHT FOR A JUMP BALL...FSU trusted their receivers and they won a few...ergo points on the board.

I realized this on the first drive. Get the ball practically on the goal line and you can’t punch it in for the score after 4 attempts? Sad.

FSU played alot of 2 man under defense. We needed to be able to run the ball, to get them to bring the safeties down in the box. We could not run and really did not try to run much.

I saw a few replays from sky cam and saw no separation on a few check downs

He’s a 5th yr guy, 2nd yr in system and is indecisive, won’t take deep shots and not very accurate….all signs that he hasn’t grown since last year. Puts up stats, but doesn’t sustain drives and get across the Goal line. This was his issue last year. He’s limited and is severely limiting the offense.
Teams won’t and don’t respect his passing game. They will continue to play the run and contain him. They’ll give up 1-2 big plays but know he won’t consistently beat them over the top and teams are perfectly fine with that. FSU was daring LSU to go deep…. After the Bama game, UGA/AM/Ark/FSU kept LBs in zone close to the LOS not allowing JD to scramble 20yds. The blue print is out.
Denbrock play calling is terrible as well. Those 6 plays inside the 5…JFC.
Plenty of issues from Defense/ST/Offense but with minor tweaks and personnel changes, this team can wreck havoc

Those aren't terrible plays if you have a decent rushing attack. We aren't using our RBs effectively and this shotgun run game is atrocious.

you did it now. how dare you criticize the all mighty and powerful best qb lsu has ever had. he has no weaknesses and never makes a bad play. are you out of your mind? or just a racist?

I thought it was a weird sign to see Bradford as the starting RB. It looked genius for a portion of the 1st drive. But, looking back, Diggs and Jackson never touched the field. Makes you wonder what they're actually thinking as a staff.
On the defensive side, not to belabor the point, but Perkins was practically a non-factor in the assignment they carved out for him. In that role, he's only a factor if the DBs completely lock down (and the whole world know that was highly unlikely). Again, makes you wonder what they're thinking.

i'm going to go out on a limb here - it appears that our QB just won't throw the ball downfield. no matter what.
which makes our coaching dysfunctional. how are you supposed to make a comeback if the qb won't try to throw a pass over 10 yards! if he won't do it, then i would put someone else in. but maybe i'm just a racist.

This was my frustration while watching....why throw a check down for 2 yards on 3rd and long or 4th down?!?
