You know, I thought so too until I went to Costco and passed the aisle where the toilet paper used to be. Yes, toilet paper and bottled water, like a Cat 5 Hurricane is about to hit or something.

I bought a bottle of Macallan and plan to sip it like Kermit sipping tea.

The politics and virus aside, what the Rant is worried about is sports. In this regard there was no reason to make an absolute decision like cancelling everything. You could’ve easily suspended play and during the interval figured out a logistical plan to put the tourney back on or decide to cancel later with the proper information. It’s the unwarranted overreaction that has people questioning this.

I don’t think you have any conceivable type of expertise on the subject to make a claim that any of this is an over reaction.

Italy did that. How’d that turn out?

Wtf expertise does anybody need to know you don’t have to cancel anything when you could simply wait and see if you need to instead? Logistically, if that’s what you mean, you can always have games at home sites the way they used to. But you go ahead and keep sky screaming snowflake.

Lol not even close to comparable. Italy did exactly what doctors and experts said they shouldn’t do. Plus they never did anything to stop or slow the virus from entering their country.

Why not suspend activities for 2 or 3 weeks and reassess the situation? In a way though I understand it because we live in a country full of pussies who have no sense of personal responsibility.

It's his opinion which is obviously far more valuable than the experts in Public Health, Medicine and Epidemiology.
Like many who have expressed outrage and cried he has done little or nothing to educate himself about the reasons for the measures being taken.
A moron is going to moron.

How about you educate yourself. Google irony and hypocrisy for starters.

Oh yea throw in reading comprehension as well.

This is all about trying to make Trump's economy look bad. Bankrupting people who have businesses and farms. Making everyone depend on the communists government the Democrats are putting in place.

Of course that’s a huge part of it. Swine flu killed over 10,000, infected 60 million and not a peep of this nonsense but 37 dead and now its the apocalypse. The only difference is which party has the White House.

So your dumb arse thinks the unilateral and unprecedented measures taken today across the sports world were prudent and not silly knee jerk by stupid arse liberal snowflakes?

Great.

One problem with the virus is that since it’s not deadly, perhaps even mils, for young and healthy people, they are willing to take more risk. They tend to see it as okay, they aren’t harming others.

But they are, or might be. They might do quite well with the virus, but they bring it back to friends and family, some their elderly parents.

I was young and bulletproof once. The folks making the calls are doing the best they can. They have to err on the side of caution. It’s easy to be young and healthy and second guess these measures. Just know while you might be fine with the virus, somewhere along the way the odds are you passed it on to someone who got really sick.

As usual with Jonny he ignores everything in the post and makes a strawman totally ignoring the facts. Like I said in the first line it has nothing to do with the virus. Why cancel instead of suspend or postpone when you’re not even at the starting time? You could wait 2 weeks at least before you have to absolutely have to cancel. There are other motives at play and it couldn’t be more obvious. Schools haven’t been shut down yet so this is 100% bullshite.

The CPAC-Virus is real and now both Trump and Pence have had confirmed direct skin to skin contact with an email infected man. They should be quarantined immediately as they both now a danger to public health.

Clearly there’s no point in arguing with the experts on this board. All science is perpetrated by liberal snowflakes and their agenda of ruining fun for the masses. And it’s working too. It’s pretty funny you’ve got madking up there talking about reading comprehension too lmao. That’s rich.
