Most everyone counting us out, TS being a "non-factor", strong SEC east team. Would be the perfect game for our team to hit stride. We have been so close at times, but I can feel it now.

P.S. Jake Fromm got broken that game. Kid was never the same.

You are forgetting who Fromm was at the time. The QB that ousted Jacob Eason, took GA to a Natty as a freshman, and held off Justin Fields for the starting job. Dude was on the Heisman watch list.

No it doesnt, you just want to compare it because its a top 10 team coming into Tiger Stadium at for a 11AM kickoff.

Possibly. I think that LSU was a bit better/more talented than this LSU team. However, I think that Georgia team was better/more talented than this Tennessee team.

Back in 2018 LSU was coming into the Georgia game off a loss to Florida where LSU didn't play particularly well. LSU is coming off another road game where they didn't play all that well.

One key thing in the Georgia game I think people forget is Georgia failed to convert on a couple of opportunities early that kept LSU in the game. On the first drive Fromm missed a open WR that would have been a TD. The next possession Georgia drove the ball downfield, before getting stopped on a fake FG. That was 10 point they left on the board which allowed LSU to take control of the game early.

The concern with this game is LSU has started slow all season with each game against FSU, MSU and Auburn finding LSU having to "hang on" at the end of the half just to stay in the game.

Against FSU LSU was down 7-3 with 3:00 in the first half. FSU had just recovered a muffed punt inside the LSU 20. FSU passed on a FG from the LSU 8, and the Tigers made a 4th down stand to maintain a 4 point deficit.

Against Mississippi St, LSU's offense did virtually nothing the entire first half and was staring a 13-0 HT deficit in the face, with MSU getting the ball to start the 2nd half, before putting together a TD drive to end the half

LSU was down 17-0 to Auburn with the offense looking as bad as it had looked all season. A defensive TD and, again, late half drive got LSU back into the game.

It is hard to continuously fall behind early and fight your way back week after week. Especially against good teams. At some point you are just not going to be able to overcome slow starts every time. That said, my reason for optimism is the HC seems to fully recognize LSU can't continue with these types of games and expect to win. So I expect there will be great emphasis on LSU making big plays early. I'd would be really surprised if LSU doesn't try to scheme up a one-on-one matchup on the first drive and take a shot downfield

Is it a coincidence that I was in Disney World during that game and will be on the way to Disney World for this one?

Burrow was 15/30 for 200 yards (No TDs or INTs) in that game.

I have been thinking the same thing for a bit now. Not that we a Joe Burrow but that this team maybe gets it all together and gives us a glimse of things to come.

Or them damned P&G glasses are at it again

QB stats are going to have to be better than that if we want to win this game.

In 2018 a lot of people on here were questioning Burrow's abilities and wanting the back up QB.
