another mid tier SEC team

Idk how you qualify that. On the road vs a Top 20 team, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Vandy ends about 8-4, 9-3. I guess that’s mid tier

The offense has to show up better than they have in any game this year. The defense will be good but they’re gonna give up points, this is a good Vandy offense.

Vandy is looking to right the ship. They don't care who is in front of them.

I expect this to be a 10/14 point game either way.

Lose this game and the season is toast. This is coming from a sunshine pumper. I know Vandy is improved. But if you can’t handle them you can’t be serious team.

That said I expect Paris to shite the bed and press and throw three picks. One return for TD, yet we still only score 23 and win by 6

Vandy played Bama tough to the end. A cheap TD by Bama very late made the score appear worse, but it was a one-score game with 4 minutes left.
Vandy is a tough team for sure. But after Bama settled down after the first quarter, they completely controlled that game scoring on their last 5 possessions. Bama scored on 6/9 possessions, which includes a missed FG and an INT at Vandy’s 7. They had 1 bad drive the entire game.

Over 100 of Vandy’s 135 rush yards were from 2 plays in the first quarter.

If we are going to disregard Pavia’s fumble and INT inside Bama’s 10 yard line and say Vandy could have won that game, then we have to agree that LSU’s mistakes against USCe inside the 10 prohibited LSU from blowing USCe. Can’t have it both ways.

It’s pretty obvious to me that if LSU limits the big rushes by Vandy, and doesn’t have multiple bad turnovers, LSU will win this game relatively easily.

This team will go the way of its offense which at this time is pathetically woeful.

This is not just a barometer game for the team. It’s a barometer game for the program.

Every game is a barometer game aka people waiting for this team to take the next step

I thought y'all said last week was the barometer game.

If we win then next week will be another barometer game and so on and so forth. If we lose at any point then we fail the barometer test.

I think LSU wins this one IF they play a relatively clean game
not that I’m blaming them, but if the D plays a clean game against Ole Miss, I think we win 20-17. So yes, we have to play damn near perfect

Yeah the same thing was said about the Ole Miss QB and we all see how that worked out. Truth is Pavia doesn’t even throw the ball much. Vandy runs a hybrid option type offense with way more running than passing so for him to throw 3 ints would be nearly impossible. But you keep your dreams alive and the rest of us will live in reality!

he has thrown it 35 times per game the last two and averages 30 in sec play this year. He throws it more than Nuss over the last two.

If you are interested in truth.

He is gonna panic and throw picks. Our D was made for gobbling his arse up

This game is a pick unless Nuss can get 300 to 350 yards passing a ND good red zone production.
